How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast there are not many choice compare with what we paid 17 euro per personne. It can be better than this. For the room it's quite big but the windows can't open at all. Location is a bit far from the downtown.
The size of the room is big compare with the price. It's very quiet zone and not so far from the statoon of the tram.

Parking area was very small and crowdy. There was no place to parc the car. But, a place in the garage was offered which was a very good, but at first unclear solution.
Very quiet space, temperature of the room was good. So good place to sleep.

Gym opens at 9am. Would be nice to do a gym work out at 7am the Turkish food in the restaurant was extremely poorly and far too expensive for what you got. They should also mention that the food is brought in from a take away place and not cooked in own kitchen.

Not many people dine there of an evening and so there is not much ambiance. The food also seems to be prepared off site although it was very good.
Room was very clean and comfortable as I would expect for what was paid, and the staff were very helpful. Well suited for Keurkenhof which is why we booked it but a little far out from central Amsterdam if one wants to sight see. Breakfast was good although staff were rushed to replenish the buffet on our second day.

Free parking is just in front of the entrance. Although it's quite a distance to the city, but u can ride with the tram, it's very convenient. And we got upgraded to a bigger room which was very nice.

A 'do not disturb' sign would have been nice. Housekeeping came in twice while I was sleeping in the afternoon. No biggie though.

Location industrial estate. Dining room uses Turkish takeaway and charges. You can actually just order your own takeaway! Staff wouldn't make a call to get any alternative takeaway food. They need to produce food from their own kitchen considering the location.
Free parking. Staff helpful. Good breakfast. Near local transport. Not sure what the 'plus' means?

Gadgets in the room weren't too many, but I was okay with it personally. No smoking room unfortunately smelled of smoke but, as mentioned, we were immediately taken care of, without any hesitation.
The staff immediately helped us with an issue we reported. They apologized and checked with us until we were again all set. Staff is super accommodating and welcoming. I took a two-room suite, perfect when you gave a pubert kid wanting privacy (not only your kid wants it).

I took the Black Friday offer so for the quality of the room the price was good. The location is in an area with mainly businesses, but you can get to Amsterdam centre in about 30 mins. Breakfast is standard, so a bit pricey, but OK.

The coffee was a little strong for the machine in the room, and there were no instructions on how to use it.
The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, the hotel is set in an industrial estate with tram 5 mins walk away so no pretty views but no real outside noise either. plus we were upgraded to a suite on the 4th floor 👍 Staff were friendly and helpful all you want really, only had breakfast once and it was ok filled a hole.

They had an issue with internet mid-stay which also affected things like the front door. Had booked due to reports of it being a very good internet signal (outside this period it was) possibly the best free internet I’ve had access to in a hotel. Staff kept us up to date but it did cause some hassle for the day or so it was down.
Very modern hotel. Large room, comfortable bed and desk area for work (if required). Good transport links into Amsterdam itself 20-30min tram ride and stop was less than 5mins from hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodated all reasonable requests

The minibar was empty, the shower door could close better.
The room was comfortable, I really liked the bed. The room was clean, some details were not perfect, but I was happy. The access from airport was very simple and took only 17 mins by bus and 5 mins walk. It was fair. The breakfast was nice, i really liked their coffee. The hotel is quiet, I would go there again.
