Wonderful drinks! The pina colada was divine! Loved the pool and the chill atmosphere. Also good job to the volunteers on coordinating the trivia night! I had fun:)

No A/C, no actual King bed, charging commission for credit card payments, charging for shuttle, taking only cash for certain activities, not having plant-based dairy options, no real gym.

Great hostel. Sociable with lots of planned activities, but not a loud party hostel either. Food and drink tasty and reasonable prices. Outside of San Juan but a regular shuttle bus and taxis easy to get back from town anyway. Dorm comfortable, air con sufficient.

super nice social hostel with great people and very good food. Sunday Funday was a blast, i absolutely recommend staying here for a few nights. They offer nice activities and the hostel itself is really beautiful

The beds could have been more comfortable, my experience on a top bunk in the shared dormitories is that they moved and creaked too much.

Was a great place to unwind and relax in a garden setting with nice pool! The staff and bartenders were great, the daily activities fun, with a convenient shuttle into town for a small extra fee. Well worth the money!

It is a bit out of the way and taxis are expensive. There is a shuttle into town and it’s along a very bumpy road. If you really want freedom you’ll need to rent a scooter or something. Not as many veggie options on the menu as I’d have liked either.

Really cool property to base yourself out of. Plenty of places to relax. Great pool and bar setup.

Our room looked nice but it had a strong smell of insect repellent that we couldn't get rid of no matter how long we kept the windows open and the fan on (the smell was there when we got the room). Also the mattress wasn't really comfortable, very springy

The common area is so nice, comfortable, modern and pretty. We absolutely loved spending time there. Also the food is excellent! Everything ordered from the very diverse menu was delicious 🤤

The property is a bit off grid, but there's a cheap shuttle option and public transport to compensate.

The service was not great. You had to ask for everything - literally spoons to stir your coffee, forks, towels were forgotten in our room etc. felt like you are nagging everyone for basic item. A lot of rules and you feel like the hotel is trying to get money out of you for every little thing.

The communal facilities are great. It’s a really comfortable area with pool tables. Great to meet other traveler’s. We were lucky to have a room with AC and hot water, so our room was great.

Only 2 rooms have hot water for showers. They should state that when picking the rooms so you can choose appropriately. We were lucky enough to upgrade our room to one of the ones for hot showers for an extra $5 a night. We'll worth it

It stated the room would have a king bed, but in fact it’s just two single bunk beds pushed together, so you have a hard metal beam running in the middle of the bed and can’t sleep in the middle. I think it’s quite misleading that this is not outlined in the description. For the price I would expect more. I think your better jumping in the dorms and saving money but still enjoying the space!

The common area is amazing here, we booked it because we thought we would treat ourselves to something a bit nicer. Its excellent if you want to lounge around the pool and eat nice food and chill. Majority of the food we ordered was lovely.

it’s quite far from town, you need to rent a bike to have freedom and the road into town is rocky, dirt and muddy which would make walking very hard. if they’re having a party you won’t be able to sleep as the rooms are near the dance floor as well.

Really nice chilled hostel. We liked the atmosphere there. Though a bit away from San Juan del Sur, but they have shuttles.

Service could be a bit more attentive and proactive A little maintanance and some details in the rooms would improve the overall experience As the Location is really remote and there is no Shared Kirchen etc. there are no other breakfast/dinner options close by- unless you have a rental car/motorbike or wait for on of the shuttles

MOSQUITOS. Unfortunately they are everywhere down here including on the beach so pack your bug spray as you will need it. Somehow they even manage to get in our room at night although we couldn't figure out how lol.

The staff here are just great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and the room is quite large and cool... which is nice after a long day at the beach. The Space is a little outside San juan but to be honest it is awesome. We rented a scooter to go into town whenever we wanted. I would highly recommend this place.

pretty far from the center, rooms with no ac are almost impossible to sleep in

the hostel is very clean and new. the pool is lovely and there’s a family of monkeys living in one of the trees that is cool to watch
