Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere were some caged birds kept in poor conditions on the property which we found upsetting and unnecessary. Also as these are apartments, not a hotel, there is considerable pre stay admin of having to read and sign a full short lease agreement, and pay a sizeable security deposit.
Spacious, clean, modern and well equipped apartment. Communal areas and pool lovely spaces to chill. Amazing views of SJDS and the sunsets. Staff helpful and responsive, when our fridge broke down they moved us to another apartment, larger, with a private pool at no cost.

IrelandJust a recommendation to maybe include a couple of coffee sachets, sugar etc in the room otherwise nowhere around to get coffee until 9am. Other than that the kitchen is fully equipped.
Beautiful resort overall with amazing views of the sea. The apartment was modern and nicely decorated. Great pool and club house area. Would highly recommend!

United StatesThis is not a resort or a hotel. It is mischaracterized and intentionally marketed incorrectly to try to book up their apartments that don’t have long term rentals. There was no welcome drink, no daily cleaning service, no concierge, no check in desk, nothing. You literally book an apartment with no additional amenities but they charge you as if you are staying at a 5 star resort. It is very misleading and likely illegal marketing. When we asked to cancel our reservation early they said no and didn’t even try to explain the misleading marketing or to deny that it was misleading. They have a WhatsApp number as a “concierge” service who didn’t even send us what they were supposed to—the number to order drinking water, get this—since they don’t provide it and tap isn’t safe. This was such. a. ripoff.
Clean and 24 hour security. These were the only perks.
