The property does not have a microwave, and they can’t warm food for you if you don’t purchase it from them. However, there is a lot of miscommunication. One minute the receptionist is stating that food can be warmed for a fee, while another minute the restaurant is providing conflicting information.

The check-in process was a bit drawn-out, and the free Wi-Fi never quite worked. Also, the location made the hotel a little difficult to navigate to.

Lovely facilities and prompt, professional service for the most part. The food is excellent, and the ambience is quiet and welcoming. Scrupulously clean. Seamless, uninterrupted power supply. Made for an enjoyable, hassle-free experience.

Complimentary breakfast can be improved upon in terms of the variety and the portions served. I wasn't happy with the manager and the front desk staff (especially on my last day). I was totally neglected and abandoned to my fate till late afternoon when I had to personally take responsibility for sorting out my relocation to their sister hotel. I couldn't take a shower, was totally famished and in severe medical distress, despite several calls to the front desk/reception staff to sort out my transfer arrangements and complain about their neglect and abandonment she sarcastically told me to call their boss. Also I must confess that during my 3-night stay, I had to constantly demand for daily housekeeping services to be rendered and also request for basic toiletries.

24/7 electricity, new and modern facility, excellent WiFi, loved the orthopaedic bed which was perfect for my back, waist and other health related issues. I also loved the fact that the hotel proprietor is a simple gentleman, very diligent and experienced hotelier who's always going way overboard to satisfy his customers. He graciously offered me a good discounted rate for his other hotel (the Capitol) when I needed to further extend my stay based on some personal extenuating circumstance. Honestly, Greystone is a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and great value for money hotel with awesome potential, however majority of the staff definitely need some retraining so as to meet and satisfy the needs of their global customers, especially the diaspora 'cos our expectations are World-class and top-notch.

The view and the Cousy Environment

The hard orthopaedic mattress. I did ask for a room with a softer mattress but was informed they were all new hence all the same firmness. The trade off with all the points mentioned earlier was worth it and I stayed longer.

I stayed here for two nights with my two young adults during a visit to Nigeria. There were tasty breakfast options which was complimentary. There was 24/7 electricity and chilled AC which did not reduce in capacity during power outages. The cleanliness was top notch. The staff are all very helpful, polite, professional and attentive to detail. The manager Mr Seye went out of his way to put things right when I complained about the Internet access on our first night. He was polite and explained things thoroughly about their processes but still went ahead to ensure we were happy. The location is secure, on a gated street with some 'bad ass camouflage wearing' security personnel. It will take an armoured vehicle to get through. Additionally, the hotel premises is gated with professional security personnel which made me feel totally at ease. I was very impressed and extended my 2 nights by an extra 3 nights. Will I recommend this place? Hell yeah and you would as well once you stayed.

Greywood Hotel and Apartments, Where I stay for few days. Stepping through I was immediately stuck by the beautiful and friendly reception area, light airy and very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great and the room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials.

During my stay at the hotel, I encountered several issues. The room internet only supported one device and frequently disconnected, requiring a call to reception to get reconnected, which only the maintenance guy could do. I also received a call at 11 PM to pay for a bottle of water because the kitchen staff was closing their accounts, regardless of my 5-day stay. There was no hot water in the bathroom, so I had to request a bucket to boil water for a shower. Additionally, when my kids visited, I had to wait for the maintenance guy to change the TV channel to a kids' program, which could take up to a day.

The room is spacious and clean. The staff are somewhat helpful, and the quality of the food varies, being good some days and not so good on others. .

The bathroom was leaking constantly, the sink and bath water do not drain.No handheld shower and the overhead shower was bad, taking a bath was a horrible ordeal. It is also located right beside a public primary school and terrible constant noise of children shouting was quite unpleasant.

It was clean the rooms are well planned. And the WI FI was good.

The shower did not produce hot water. Despite multiple attempts to resolve, the hotel was not able to figure it out. The wifi was also unstable. When it worked it was great, but it would not allow me to log in many times during the day and night so I had to resort to using my phones data.

The hotel staff were friendly and hardworking, they responded quickly to issues. No elevators but porters were available to carry luggage up the stairs. The hotel itself was clean and quiet the air conditioning worked well, and power was relatively stable
