Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I will not advise anyone to lodge at this hotel reason being that their rooms are very dirty, small, very small and smelly. It’s ridiculously expensive and the location is nothing to write home about. Have not stayed in a hotel like this in my entire life.

NigeriaIt's too expensive for the value you get, we could have easily stayed in a luxury hotel for the amount we paid per night, plus the rooms are very basic and the water pressure was literally non existent. There was also no iron in the room and you're forced to use the laundry service, which is not free. I wouldn't stay here ever again and I wouldn't recommend.
It's in a good location, easy to access and get out of. And some of the staff were lovely.

NetherlandsI thought about rating this hotel low because of their staff who stole some of my food stuff that I kept at their care. but then I changed my mind because I truly had a lovely stay at this hotel. just don’t keep your stuff by them and you’ll be good. I still don’t understand how someone who works at a luxury hotel went that low as to stealing food stuffs from a stranger. like, are you seriously going to eat that? I was absolutely in shock when I got home and find out that half of my dried fish was gone and some snails too. ahh that was an act of weakness.
I loved my stay there and I would recommend. nice and clean environment.

NigeriaThey should have a proper documentation of what it’s being bought in the hotel rooms,not incurring bills on someone else. One of the staffs actually called me for a complimentary brunch, while I was eating I was charged for it. Their staff should be properly taught what complimentary and not complimentary means.
I like the fact that when a complaint is being made, they do everything possible to make your stay a better one.
