    Nothing to mention.

Great hotel/resort in one of the best location in New Caledonia; Beach front bungalows with modern facilities. Dinner was buffet style and lots of options to chose. I did enjoy the stay at the hotel.

Very limited food options (especially as a vegetarian) buffet only which was incredibly expensive for what you get. Didn’t have breakfast there but believe that was only buffet too.

Rooms were great, very spacious clean and lovely view out to the ocean. Pool was nice to cool off in, even if a bit small when busy.

    Nothing to dislike.

The location was remote but as expected with where it is on the island, nearby town was 10 mins drive away. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable ideal for relaxing and enjoying the northern parts of the island. The rooms are nearby to the waters edge with beautiful views :)

We were less than impressed with the buffet dinner and that there was no alternative to purchasing this option of food. A bar food option , for example, burgers would have been good.

We liked the garden and beach setting.

It was quite windy when we visited making it difficult to swim from the beach. We didn't try the pool which was quite small.

Our bungalow was very comfortable and spacious, nice deck too. Staff very helpful and accomodating. The location was great, it was on the beach, and close proximity to the diving centre. The diving centre Babou was also very friendly and the dives we did were exceptional. Excellent base to further explore the north.

There was nowhere to buy any food unless you ate in the dining room which only offered a very expensive nightly buffet. The town was a 10 minute drive away.

We had a bungalow right on the beach. The room was spacious.

Restaurant offered only one choice for dinner 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed: a buffet mainly of cold leftovers and salad for 4500 xpf per personne. Given the isolated location we had no options except to pay the price or not eat. We chose to miss dinner both nights

Location was fantastic. It was peaceful and relaxing.

A lot timber walkways and decking needs sanding and painting. Splintering is an issue. The quality of food was poor for a buffet style menu. They have a start time for dinner of 7:30pm which isn’t fantastic for foreign children. Laundry facilities for tourists are needed.

We like the design of the rooms. We can see the potential once the hotel has had a facelift.

If you're travelling from Noumea or the airport, it's a decent drive - 4-5 hours - so ensure you have transport, a playlist and do enjoy the ride. Noticed an airstrip about 30 minutes from the hotel, might also be an option for those who prefer to fly.

Great location by the ocean with plenty of bungalows for guests and an extensive property with space for sporting activities such as a basketball court, tennis court, volleyball field, and mini-golf with sports equipment provided by the staff for free. The buffet dinner was the highlight!

The buffett is expensive and not worth the money - meat dishes contain miniscule cubes of meat which is mostly gristle, chicken was dry and overcooked, fish was mushy and not flakey, lamb chops and sausages were stone cold, chips, springs rolls, and pizza bread were all served cold. As soon as I put a cream desert to my lips I had to spit it out as the cream was off. Partner arranged with reception for a candle on the table with dinner and a small cake with candle to celebrate birthday, but this was not provided. All reception could respond with was 'oh'. Received fishy smelling towels for two days in a row which we had to exchange at reception. Cocktails never tasted the same. Finally, the untrustworthy staff added another rooms bill to my account so that they could balance their ledger in the hope that I would not pick up their mistake.

The wonderful view from our room of palm trees and the sea.

the staff were very unfriendly. Strict 2.30pm check in. 4 other groups arrived around noon as we did and were turned away by the desk clerk. They also tried to charge us twice for dinner which cost nearly as much as the room. Run down facilities. Mould in the dining room and eating areas. Everything looked tired. Our room back door did not lock, the tv didn’t work and the safe was locked when we arrived. The safe was easy enough to resolve but the rest not.

location, food was ok if expensive

Although the chalets themselves were relatively OK, the property itself is run down and needs a lot of TLC, as well as significant upgrade in facilities (eg restaurant hasn’t seen a lick of paint for many years, loose electrical cables etc). I don’t think we actually saw anyone maintaining the facilities during our stay (rubbish bins never emptied on the property and so on). The restaurant only provides buffet style meals, at a steep price, and I suspect a lot of reuse between meals - there’s a restaurant in the Hienghen village, with a marginally better quality/price ratio. The beach is not that inviting for a swim (rocks, rubbish etc.).

Wide open spaces in property (though this means longish walks to/from chalet). Close to the beach.

Overall good value for money. It would have been nice to be able to get into our cabin when we got to the hotel 1 1/2 hours before check in. Understand there are rules, but the hotel was so empty so hard to believe our cabin was not ready. Most hotels we’ve been too offer early check in when rooms are available.

We stayed at one of the cabins facing the beach. It was clean and comfortable. It also had 2 lounge chairs facing the water which was great, and we managed to spot 2 dolphins while relaxing. We did not swim but the water felt warm when we walked at the beach, and there was one person snorkeling for a while, so assuming there were fish in the lagoon. We did not have breakfast (buffet only) at the hotel as we were pleased to eat the nice baguette sandwiches from Mobil petrol station (delicious and cheap, believe it or not). For dinner a lá carte seems to have replaced the Buffett, perhaps because the hotel was fairly empty. The food was not cheap but the portion was generous and it was tasty.
