There wasn't of any thing in the area, so you were a captive audience for the restaurant and bar.... whilst the food was a good buffet style, at $65 a head it was not cheap....

The hotel has warned us, but there are lots of ants everywhere in the room and you can't leave food out at all. While the restaurant food was very delicious, it is expensive.

The room was spacious as well as the rustic atmosphere of the entire hotel was amazing. The food was delicious and it was a quick drive to the unique "rooster looking rock."

The coffee machine was broken and much of the hot buffet food was cool temperature after cooling quickly at the buffet serving area. The lack of English speaking programs offered on TV and bad TV connection

The maintenance of the grounds and facilities was poor. The gardens looked like they hadn’t been done in weeks - weeds everywhere, the facilities were tired including pool loungers, the tennis court with raquettes for kids only, sagging net, cracked court. Phones in the bedroom wasn’t unusable so we had to walk the minimum 5 minute walk to reception for the slightest request. Above all, we were dismayed that we were required to pay for the $45 per head banquet every night. It was unfortunate that the à la carte menu was restricted to 15 guests only and also not available on weekends. This made for a costly stay.

The location is second to none right on the beach front. Staff are generally pleasant. The food was lovely. The Bangalows seemed renovated, crisp air conditioning and all mod cons.

The wifi either wasn’t working or kept dropping out/disconnecting. Otherwise the accommodation met our expectations and we really enjoyed our stay.

The 2 rooms we had were small and had no table and chairs to sit and play games. All rooms have the same view so there is no need to pay extra for a particular sea view type. Only buffet dinners were available - it would have been good to have lighter and cheaper options. Expensive meals. No swimming in the local beaches allowed during summer (bull shark breeding season).

Hienghene is a beautiful area to visit. The beach is very close to all rooms. The swimming pool stayed cold during the hot days. It was fun to play pétanque and mini golf with the family.

We booked for 3 people but only 2 tea cups. Sadly only buffet option while I was looking forward to la carte menu. Mostly families. Sea swimming wasn't possible.

You have to remember this is quite an isolated area. The Resort had good facilities like tennis court, putt putt golf, volleyball court etc but they have not been kept up over the years, which I feel is a shame, if they were it might encourage even more locals to use them.

The location was excellent over looking the beach. The staff are all local ladies and they are lovely all very friendly and do their very best to speak English. Actually all the little villages we drove through all the locals were very happy to give you a smile and a wave. The food was very good, usually a buffet and a good choice of drinks. Room was quite comfortable and clean.

Parking is poorly arranged. In the rain, it is filled with water and mud. It's a long way from the parking lot to the bungalows. There are no wine glasses in the bungalow.

A very beautiful place. Convenient beach. The bungalow is in good condition. Delicious food. There are many hiking trails nearby. Waterfalls are nearby.

The quality of dinner buffet food was average.

Lovely location on the waterfront! Nice rooms, modern bathroom, very comfortable beds and cute front area with lounge chairs and water views.
