Our only complaint was the total lack of hot water when showering and doing dishes. The kitchens could use one good frypan and updated cooking utensils.

Pool was excellent and very appreciated on some very hot days. Air conditioning, location and the STAFF were awesome!

The king sized bed had a broken spring on the side. It was not a big deal because I just moved over, but it was very noticeable. The shower didn't work at first, but the staff had it fixed in no time.

The room had a 3/4 sized refrigerator, which was great for the beer we had on the patio right outside the door. And the patio was poolside so it was so much fun to sit there between swims. The hotel is quiet and located just outside the downtown area. And the decor was so pretty.

Noisy during the day, lots of traffic. The area is ramshackle but lots of construction, so hopefully that doesn’t last long.

Great location to beach and malecon, as well as restaurants. Some traffic noise during the day but quiet at night. Pool was great, lots of lounge areas, king bed in my suite, a/c, ceiling fan. Basic kitchen but essentials. Great value, would definitely stay again. Beautiful and helpful staff.

The first place in Mexico where we had to pay for the drinking water.

Wonderful ambience. Large terrace and pool. Very friendly staff. Authentic vacation spot, not too touristy yet. Great sunsets give great background for kite surfing on the beach.

Terrible water pressure

A lovely traditional building with a pool, a laid back and friendly hotel. We had a self contained room suitable for cooking. It also had a lounge area . Rut on reception was lovely, as were all the other staff. In a central position but back from the beach strip so very quiet

Bicycle hire is expensive. There for four days and nobody used bikes. Seemed silly not to let guests use them!

Loved it here. So clean. We extended our stay as we loved to so much. Lovely pool. Apartment well stocked.

Kitchen equipment is very old and needs to be replaced. It would be nice to have dish soap included. It would be nice to have drinking water included

Traditional Mexican decor, very cozy place. Was really great to have kitchen because restaurants in the area are very expensive. For those driving a car - be aware of a lot of reckless bickers in the town.

Nothing really, I had a great time without any hiccups.

The staff were incredibly nice! Very communal and friendly place. Felt very good for long term stays as well as short term. Good kitchen where you can cook your own meals, that was a big plus for me.

We were given a room that was under construction and then a room that only had one bed when we requested two. Finally, we were given a clean room with two beds and all was well. Somehow the receptionist was not aware of the construction or our request.

The pool and lobby area were very nice and clean. I liked having a little kitchen area which was perfect for a quick breakfast in the morning before heading out.

Wi-Fi was terrible. It generally was better in the morning and seem to get worse as the day went on. There were times in the evening where I couldn’t do anything with it. Water pressure was very low most of the time both in the kitchen and in the shower. It isn’t a great area to find somewhere to eat at night. Breakfast and early afternoon was better.

Pool was great. The room was well-equipped. It isn’t too far off the beaten path. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

It is an older hotel so some of the plumbing fixtures such as taps were old but functional. Good value for the money.

Mexican decor and ambience. Well kept gardens and plants. Very clean and refreshing pool. Kitchen facilities available. Nice to be able to make ice! In room safe nice to have. Staff very helpful friendly.

Beautiful comfortable hotel that makes you feel at home. We spent four days here and really enjoyed it. The property is well taken care of, bed was very comfortable, linen and towels were impeccably clean and nice. The staff - Ruth, Brenda and Mariana are very friendly and helpful, they also speak exclellent English. In addition, they are very responsible and look after their guests to make sure everything is going well - I left my ring behind after check out and they notified me immidiately (thank you!). The wifi worked great, AC worked great, the swimming pool was always clean. The property has lots of pleasant areas to rest in and enjoy. Very happy we chose this location. This is definitely our number one choice to stay in Progreso and we will be very happy to come back here again!

I stayed in the most fantastic apartment the accommodation has, with its own balcony facing the road, the apartment was big. fully equipped kitchen, there was also a private laundry room, where you could wash your clothes by hand. Well-kept and not a lot of animals. The owner was nice and helpful in every way. Wi-Fi worked well, The location is perfect, 5 min to the beach and 10 min to the center! Really want to recommend this accommodation!
