It is a bit overpriced for what it is. However, Holbox is an expensive place so it is to be somewhat expected. As other reviews have mentioned there are many dogs in the neighborhood that sometimes bark during the night, but with the A/C and fan inside the room you can barley hear them.

I had a lovely time at this hostel. The location is great, close to the ferry and main town but in a quiet area. The property is well maintained and clean. The external private bathroom is just a short walk away and is well lit at night. Great A/C in the room. It was nice to be able to use the shared kitchen, which was kept clean and organized. I would stay again!

The facilities are a little on the older side, so the bathroom was not the newest but ok to use. The sheets seemed a little stained but I guess it is not a 3*hotel, so all fine.

I stayed 3 nights in a double room and liked the garden of the hostel. The room was spacious and functional. Staff was friendly. Good location.

Only annoying thing during our entire stay was a dog, wich belongs to the hostel. he was barking early in the morning, in the evening, during the day - all the time and since we were traveling with kid, the dog woke our kid up everyday and it was a nightmare for us as parents, ruined our day :(

Located in a quite area, with green garden and hammocks, excellent paradise indeed. The staff was super nice, good quality of cleanliness, kitchen was convenient, shops and restaurants nearby, close to the beach everything was great

10 min walk from beach and WiFi just in communal areas which they stated.

Clean, great facilities, hot shower, fan & aircon with a fridge in the room. Communal kitchen was kept very clean and was well equipped. Premises was very beautiful with art murals hammocks and was very quiet and peaceful even on Saturday nights. Loved the stay.

The safety box didn’t work, many insects and mosquitoes, no laundry service, poor WiFi in common areas and no WiFi in the room

Nice and accommodating staff. Big room. There was even a broom in the room for when it gets Sandy, e.g., after visiting the beach.

Fabulous place, i felt so relaxed there. I loved the hammacs area and the cute dog that stays there. Also had my own little seat hammac and a chair ouside my room. The room was great, i even had a fridge. The beds were very confortable as well as pillows.

The kitchen was dirty and the washing sponges were gross and not replaced during our stay. Our bathroom was also not cleaned during our 3 night stay. Overall a nice stay but with room for improvement

The location was great, walking distance from everything. The outside areas were great with hammocks and seating everywhere. The Aircon worked well in the room and we had a fridge.

Very nice hostel near city center. Rooms are very quiet, it is only 5 min walk from the city center. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is located inside the room (I read comments saying otherwise). Staff is really nice. Kitchen is available for you to cook. It is relatively clean, what you should expect from an hostel. WiFi is ok.

Walk from private room to bathroom is a bit odd

We stayed here for our last night in Holbox as we found Hostel Che too intense. Wish we would have stayed here for 2 nights and Che only 1. Lovely setting, basic but absolutely fine.

The bathroom was external and the wifi only works at the reception. Would have been nice if they offered water refills.

The hostel is located near the main street, but without all the noise that comes with it. The kitchen was clean and was equipped with enough kitchenware. The shower had warm water. The room was spacious and AC.
