How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There are not enough tables and chairs, especially morning breakfast time. It was difficult to have a table since it was a busy morning rush.
It was a great location next to the biggest shopping center. Also, morning breakfast is good. Additionally, we can have a coffee any time we want which I love it! Free ice cube machine is also super useful.

The room is super small and the a/c machine was EXTREMELY noisy. I kept on waking up thru the night turning it off so I could sleep a little and then turning it back on so I didn't dehydrate from sweating. The bed didn't have bedsheets. And the pillows were straight flat. Also when I first got to the room there were no shampoo or soap, not a hand towel. I wouldn't have care about the pillows or the bedsheets missing but adding all that stuff together makes you have a very frustrating time, specially the A/C

Good location by Plaza Americas if you need to do some shopping during your overnight. Rooms are incredibly basic/dated, but clean. Staff was friendly, but there wasn’t a sign of food to be had at my midnight arrival. Best option was the gas station next door. Totally fine for a night after a super delayed flight, but otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

Air-conditioner has a smell of mold, water flowing out on the floor and it’s super noisy. Barely was cleaned and serviced for a years, I can only imagine how much bacteria is inside.
Nice place for short stay before you leave.

The hotel and rooms are clean. But it could be much better. Bathrooms and pool need a deeper cleanness. Breakfast is not that tasteful but since it is included within the price is not bad. It would be great if there was more variety in food.
Excellent location, near to the mall Plaza Las Americas. The place Aldo has swimming pool and breakfast included. Also 1 ride (in a mini bus which belongs to the hotel) per day to a distance no longer than 5 km. Excellent and helpful staff.

Wifi was very feeble in the room. The staff were friendly but spoke little English, so get ready with the Google translate app if you don't speak spanish. Tried to inquire about tours but no success. Staff in City Express (neighboring hotel) spoke English but didn't have information either. Far from any particular attraction or commute point, but close enough for reasonably priced taxi ride to bus and collectivo stations. Staff told me I could take 2 buses to the beach.
Located next to Oxxo and a mall. Just stayed here for a night, no particular expectation. Friendly staff, reasonable breakfast but the breakfast area got too crowded with too many people without masks.

Uncomfy beds, the aircon makes a lot of noise. Had to use earplugs unfortunately.
Cheap, staff knew some english. was just a place to stay after our flight.

You can hear a noise from inside and outside
Hotel is fine, right next to shopping mall where stay taxis, bus, colectivo. Only if you want to go to Zona Hotelera (beaches) you need to use colectivo+bus (10+12pessos). Hotel is in international style, not to big rooms with bathroom, window and all what you need. Reception is 24/7 only there is a problem to speak english a bit. Breakfast is fine, you can choose from more varinats and benefit is that coffee/tea, water and ice is available all day for free. There is also swimming pool with beach chairs next to hotel.
