Everything! The space was stunning, peaceful, beautifully decorated, super comfortable.

For the price of the hotel, we would have liked to have had an expresso machine in the room, instead of a flimsy drip machine; also, bathroom had the lowest vanity ever - we had to bend our knees to reach the sink and we are 1,70 m - and the sink needs to be re-grouted (bathroom was a minus); our safe was not working (we didn't ask for maintenance though, as we didn't have time).

The hotel itself and gardens (the Flamboyant tree was in bloom and just amazing!) are really beautiful and charming. We loved how central the hotel was, and breakfast and lunch were very good - kudos to the restaurant staff as they were great.

Amazing property with a lot of history in the perfect location. The pictures don’t do it justice. This hotel is truly gorgeous. The rooms were very cute and comfortable and all the staff was amazing.

Historic building with a 5 stars service and amenities. It was such a unique experience. Location was in middle of everything. I only had breakfast there but I can tell the food would be phenomenal.

Could have some umbrellas available for the the sunbeds rather than taking from the tables. Breakfast was only OK.

The hotel is beautiful with lush green courtyards. We enjoyed hearing the birds. The serenading live music during breakfast was a treat. The hotel is centrally located so we could walk everywhere.

It is expensive.

The hotel is an ancient monastery, built around beautiful inner courtyards with gardens and a swimming pool. Sleep is perfect, since the place is very quiet, even though the hotel is in the very centre of the city. Breakfast is fabulous, as well as lunch, with the possibility to sit in the courtyard under the portico.

Wish ac could be set to colder temperature

The fitness room was very small but never crowded and the lounge area for the pool was also small with few lounge chairs. These were often filled up by the wedding parties.

The location was ideal for access to anything a visitor might want in the center of Oaxaca. The hotel was beautiful, clean and the service was impeccable. I did not sample food other than a simple breakfast which was just fine. There were several weddings during my stay and the room was quiet and unaffected by the celebrants! The staff were professional, polite and very helpful. After seeing several other "chic" hotels in Oaxaca, I would only stay at the Quinta Real.

Gym a bit small but nothing else an issue.

Perfect location right in the heart of things, a blissful oasis when you step inside from the busy streets. Unique ex convent location. Staff were incredible and very attentive. Food also great, breakfast was a highlight. I couldn't recommend enough, this is THE place to stay in Oaxaca
