We found 2 cockroaches at the room, one was in the toilet and the other one inside my toilet kit, and was not nice. But I have to say that the cleaning was always good.

All the resort is amazing! The beach, the pool, restaurants, the spa… and all the employees are so nice! And the gift for the honeymoon was perfect!

Would have been great to have more vegan options at breakfast.

The beach was amazing, the rooms were very large and the bathroom was massive! Extremely comfortable. Breakfast had an amazing view and great selection. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

The cost of alcohol was very high.

A well maintained living area which was simple but sufficient. The bathroom was extremely well looked after and felt like a very luxurious space. A very large bed and nice touches on arrival. Being on the Western coast there is were beautiful sunsets. The choice of 6 restaurants provided a lot of capacity with El caravelle being our favourite. The staff throughout the complex were so kind and facilitating that it made the holiday a most special occasion. The water sports centre ensured top quality activities throughout the week including swimming with turtles.

what a wonderful resort. perfect in every way. the staff is amazing, the villa is amazing, the food is amazing. the activities are amazing. defiantly gonna recommend it to anyone who is going to Mauritius!

Food

Hotel has a beautiful landscape, beach is beautiful, staff very polite, room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is fine but the same everyday. I don't give the hotel more points because of the restaurants. It's not the best food and it's expensive. There are several towns nearby with wonderful restaurants and better prices.

Some logistic issues (booking of restaurant, Nanny services,..) but the staff was very nice and management reacted well to sort out the issues which is the most important Service at the a la cart restaurant was a bit long.

the fruit juices at the breakfast were so bland such a disappointment having all this amazing fruits. shower pressure could be better and the some of the staff wasn’t as friendly as others.

aquatic sports included, like pedalò and SUP. Great variety for the breakfast. spacious room and beautiful setting. beautiful lobby and pool area. because we were here on winter time, it was a good deal compared to other 5* in the area. however I’m not truly amazed by this hotel, not really my vibe.

Everyone in the whole resort was so great, from the reception to the every worker. Everyone was keen to ask us how our stay is going, do we need anything, how do we feel etc. Towels in room are changed several times a day, and clean beach towels are available at any moment at many spots in resort which is really helpful. Food was excellent, there was a variety of dishes to choose from, anybody could find something they would like each meal. Special thanks to the lovely lady Rema who made our stay even more amazing by ensuring that our room is clean and tidy.

Dive centre was excellent. The owner convinced me to dive with Tiger sharks in the future when I get the opportunity. For this I am grateful. Note that there are not tigers there so don’t worry! Thank you.

to make the resort even better, i d recommend to consider cleaning a bit the beach (under water) at main entry points. Cutting with coral is very easy

amazing location, very present yet discrete working personnel. We had a request to help with bed disposition, it was fixed a couple of hours later. The entire hotel is a harbour of peace and zen attitude. Food delicious and diverse. Very happy with Mauritian evening (shows and food on sundays). Also appreciated different restaurants and types of food available.

The cocktails could have been less expensive.

This is a truly beautiful hotel, in a breathtaking location, with wonderful staff and fantastic facilities. The beach is safe, clean and on the doorstep, with plenty of loungers and towels. The team there (including the very friendly Rambo and Robert) were on hand with freshly picked coconuts to eat and drink. Great water sports facilities, with enthusiastic and knowledgeable people to help with the equipment (kayaks, paddleboards, snorkelling, etc). The food was phenomenal: we ate at the main buffet every night, and the range and quality was the best I've experienced at any luxury hotel. The restaurant team were lovely, especially the talented chefs, and also Ouma, Manoj and Thiery. The Mauritian speciality night was a favourite! We had a two bedroom villa for my family, and it was a perfect balance of being together whilst having space and privacy. The gentleman who cleaned it each day - Joy - was lovely and did an excellent job, even cleaning on the last day so that we could fully enjoy the room until our late check out (another lovely touch). The spa was an oasis of calm. I went several times (primarily because I got the currency conversion wrong and thought it was much cheaper than it actually was, but in hindsight, I am glad that I treated myself!), both with my daughter for a duo treatment, and on my own. Each time, I felt like a different (better) human coming out. Kudos to the lovely and talented Janora. All in all, it was a truly heavenly visit, and I would absolutely return! 100% recommend.

The food

The room was superb. The staff were excellent. The beach was beautiful. the food was average at the main restaurant and very expensive.(buffet) The speciality restaurants were far better so maybe not worth the full package. Rather just do bed and breakfast.

The kids club and baby sitting services were amazing here. The pool is great for babies and kids as it has a large shallow area around the edge for them to splash about in.
