I would definitely stay again but don’t have high expectations on the breakfast offering. Dinner on the other hand was good but quality varied, although specials were great! Service gives a feeling of lack of experience but really friendly and trying their best.

Amazing location, great sunset, beautiful pool, extremely clean and nice opportunity to walk along the beautiful beach.

A choice of fruit at the breakfast could be a bit improved

We very much appreciated the comfort and service, provided by hotel personnel. The room was clean and comfortable, the cleaning regular, the food at the restaurant tasty, and fresh. Wе especially appreciate the assistance provided to my family in organizing sight-seeing and activities. It was just enough to say, what they were interested in and everything was settled for the comfortable excursions and transportation. A strong point is the location. Within 15 minute walk there is a supermarket, and several very decent restaurants.

One heavy incident with Emilia, the girl at the reception- Apple Pay is impossible, no Pay Pal, no bank virement. I haven’t had the PIN of my Visa card at hands. Behaviour rather ‚poison market‘-style than luxury boutique- attitude. I left angry.

The service in restaurant was a little bit slow, the beach was occupied by boats but it was nice anyway.

Directly on to a lovely beach with small boats close by. Clean and tidy at all times. Staff friendly and helpful. Half board option with excellent food options to suit our taste. This was a return visit after some years and it was a pleasure to enjoy the Bay again.

For us it was unbelievable that the internet base station is practically in the hotel yard. If we knew we would never have chosen the hotel. Our room was of a small size. We had three dinners at hotel. Two were fine, one was tasteless.

It is a cosy and clean hotel next to the beach. Staff was kind, they organised for us a shower room on the day of the departure since we had a late flight. Breakfast was good, in five days we would appreciate more variety. Music on Saturday night - duo . was amazing, great!

The one piece of feedback would be that I wish the staff were a bit more flexible in the restaurant for hotel guests - for example, they only have two sittings, and they were often unable to seat us with our new friends if we had booked separately (this happened on New Year's Eve and we just sat at separate tables next to each other, as they wouldn't move the tables) and, when it rained, I asked to be able to sit in the restaurant to have a drink as the other covered seating area was full and I was told I wasn't able to. It's a small thing but a bit more flexibility would have been appreciated.

We have just got back from The Bay which truly became a home from home in Mauritius. The location is gorgeous - we went to plenty of other more famous beaches on the island and the beach outside the hotel was our favourite - it's not huge but it's real, not crowded and a great place to watch kite surfers. The staff at the hotel were great - special mention to Emilie and the other ladies on reception who were so welcoming and friendly, and even helped me to organise a vegan birthday cake for my husband for the boat trip. Whilst the hotel isn't huge, we were able to get loungers every day / when we needed them around the pool or on the beach. The restaurant had a good menu and food was delicious - the service was a bit slow at times but we didn't mind too much, being on holiday. The included breakfast was really great. In particular, we enjoyed the dolphin / beach BBQ trip (we swam WITH dolphins!!) and met a great group of likeminded guests who we ended up spending the rest of the trip with. We had a fabulous NYE party in the restaurant and on the beach which I'll never forget. The hotel isn't luxurious but doesn't pretend to be and I think it's incredibly good value for the price. The room facilities are good - ours had a terrace and great view over the ocean.

Super nice facilities! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, light, clean and comfortable. Super nice bath robes in the room. Great breakfast and amazing dinner. Make sure to try the daily specials- I highly recommend the fish. I’ve tried it twice and it was delicious.

Our room had a really bad view of a deposit house I think and people would start working there and screaming at one another from around 5am..plus a lot of dogs barking... If you want piece and quiet, our room would not deliver that.

The hotel is so beautifully and uniquely decorated. The pool space and restaurant are gorgeous and the food amazing. We normally do not book half board bit it was totally worth it here!

Beautiful property with lovely ocean views and a great place to watch the sunset. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool and rooms were clean and spacious. Really enjoyed our stay. Pina coladas were really tasty too!

Our room across from the reception was lovely. Unfortunately not sound proofed. Our suggestions to correct the problem was noted & well received. A naughty yapping dog in the street was annoying at times but that's the island life ... It's a doggies life !

A relaxing stay all round. Great swim in gentle sea Infront of the resort. Breakfast was included & well executed. Menu for lunch & dinner varied & delicious. Well presented with great service. Staff were exceptional. It makes guests feel special.

The pool side was nice but whenever we took place in one of the chaise near the pool, some staff was coming towards us to get orders from the bar. I felt it missed a more relaxed area between the hotel and the pool where we could chill peacefully. Also, I wished the bar was offering greater variety of fresh juice and cocktails with fresh fruits. Restaurant was okay, several options of local and international food and various veggie options at affordable prices.

Location is amazing to explore the southwest and south ends of the Island. The staff is very helpful and caring. Emilie and her colleagues have been of great help in advising us for day-trips and excursions. The set up is so nice with pool and waterfront with great sunsets.

Everything was nice, but a big shoutout to the staff. They are there for you and always kind. Further was the room very clean and nice and we loved the beach.
