You would not want to stay here without a car. And bear in mind that there is no sign marking the place, so it was a little confusing finding it the first time. But this is a minor point--better to notify the owners when you plan to arrive.

The place is very good value and very well located. You have access to the public beach at La Morne and the restaurants and supermarket in La Gaulette all a short drive away. And there is a nice restaurant you can walk to, Zom Kayak. The wifi worked well, and everything was perfectly comfortable.

Mostly it was all good. It would have been nice if he had coffee and tea available, but otherwise it was all fine.

The place was clean. The host was great. We also went to watch dolphins and whales with him (highly recommended!!) and that was a highlight of our stay in Mauritius.

Pingu Studios truly lives up to its reputation, albeit a bit challenging to locate without proper signage. Nevertheless, my experience here was nothing short of delightful! The top-floor apartment boasted enchanting views of the garden, with Le Morne visible from the patio, offering spaciousness, impeccable cleanliness (kudos to the exceptional cleaner!), excellent air conditioning (essential for summer stays), and a serene ambiance. Its proximity to Le Morne beach and a nearby grocery store made it exceptionally convenient. I wholeheartedly endorse this apartment and would eagerly return for another stay.

Spacious studio, with a terrace for dinning outside and fully equipped kitchen. Clean, and nice deco. Air condition and anti mosquitos in place. Secured. The host is very attentive and explained the possibilities for excursions and what to visit in the area. Responded very well to our needs.

-There was some problems with the air con at first -No TV, which didn´t meet the description -An iron had to be asked for, it was not in the apartment. There was not an ironing board and we had to iron on top of a bed, which was difficult especially when the power cable of the iron was short -Not too many forks, knives etc.

Ben is an incredible host. After meeting him we felt really welcome. He provided us with some great information regarding the activities in the area, good food spots, and was always available for help. He took us on a boat trip to swim with Whales & Dolphins, which included snorkeling and breakfast on a boat. The trip turned out to be an incredible experience, worth any penny! The apartment was well-equipped and clean. The area is quiet and surrounded by nature. 3 min with a car to big grocery store, caffees, restaurants, sports stores 5 min with car to amazing Le Morne Beach. Will definitely return.

We were upgraded to a new apartment that had fantastic views of the coastline. Apartment was large, clean and had a deck to watch the sunset. Owner was very nice and provided additional information about the area.

The apartment is perfect to explore the Le Morne area since it is very close to the beach and to very good restaurants nearby. You even have the choice to cook there. The facilities are great for the price you are paying. I will recommend it yo anyone who wants to stay in a mid-range hotel.

I would definitely advise a car, as it's a 15-20 min walk along a main road with no pavement to get to the village. Le Morne beach is basically inaccessible without a car (with a car only a 5 min drive) so otherwise you would be relying on taxis or buses (bus doesn't go directly to the beach).

Everything was great from the start - I arrived early morning after an overnight flight and was able to check-in immediately despite being several hours before check-in time. The studio was spacious and clean, all amenities. Ben and his wife were very helpful giving me advice and info on how to get around, with Ben offering lifts before then arranging a rental car for me, as well as transfers to and from the airport.

Small problem with ants around the property but not much owner can do. Everything else was great!

The apartment was very clean and cozy. The cleaning lady came every 2 days and changed the towels. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He provide us informations about Le Morne and La Gaulette, booked us a bout tour which was perfect. He was available at any time for us. Location is also great. The bus stop is in front of the apartment although we had a car. The supermarket is like 4 min by car. The place is very calm and quite. The kitchen was well equipped.

Although the property is along the main road, it’s quiet and allows you to rest at any time. Lovely balcony, there’s a facility to dry your clothing after water sports. Comfy double bed, large bathroom and efficient air conditioning and kitchen. The flat was cleaned on a daily basis efficiently. Ben is Super! He will have plenty of suggestions for you (you should take advantage) as competitively priced and of great recommendations. Thank you very much for all your help!
