Our room key stopped working a couple of times and we were told to not put the key beside our phones the first time. So we ensured to not do that and it kept happening and there was no explanation as to why it kept happening.

The views were stunning and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A bit dated in some areas. Just need a good renovation. Service a bit slow at the bar.

Food was ok. Certain dishes were good but most were average for my taste . Presentation was excellent.

Drinks prices but this is expected at a remote resort. The salad portions at the beach restaurant are very small. Little Mauritian culture ie food or music though there was a sega dance one evening.

Huge bed was so comfy it was hard to get out of it. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Serene, peaceful stay with some good activities included Zumba, sega, aqua and water activities. The ocean view is amazing and I was quite upset leaving that glorious view when we had to leave.

Booking.com let us down on the night with our accomodation and had to book at the very last minute when I was driving by. Security guard checked me in.

Air conditioning could be better. The AC is just not powerful enough for size of the room. Its a design flaw. When we informed them about it, they promptly apologized and tried to set it right. Having a table fan in the room helped thereafter. They also upgraded us to full board for the hardship on first night.

Excellent Service. Nicely set up for families with young kids. Easy access to diving center nearby. Food was very good with lot of options.

Only wish the pool was cooler as the water was always warm.

Better variety of food during the buffet would have been ideal.

The direct view on the ocean from the room was beautiful. The quiet pool was enjoyable. It was warm even in the afternoon. The environment is very serene and peaceful too.

The room was lovely and spacious. Cleaned daily. Close to the beach. Gardens are neat and beautifully maintained. Great breakfast buffet. Lovely swimming area. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent service all round

-Major problem with the room was the AC not working properly and even after apparently fixing it was still suboptimal. It maybe that it has a small capacity for the size of the room. - The pool is skimmer type with water level barely at the skimmer level which means circulation of the water maybe inadequate. There were no service around the pool that provides towels and could not locate any bathrooms nearby either. - The trail to our room (100x) off the center of the resort was sandy which meant every time we reached our room our shoes needed cleaning. The sandy path starts with uphill which proved slippery for both our kids resulting in knee injuries. - At the restaurant, it would be helpful if vegetarian options or food containing gluten, or any form of alcohol are labeled clearly. - The paths are limited thus the best path from our room to the pool area and kids club is through a bar. - Gym was closed throughout our stay and was not announced on booking.com. - Spa experience we tried was a massage which itself was good but the setting was not private enough.

- Family beachfront suite was spacious and newly refurbished with a separate room for the kids. - The beach was excellent for swimming and gathering pearls. - Boathouse included complimentary activities such as glass bottom boat. From the same port, we took a private speed boat for dolphin viewing which was a highlight of our trip. - Nearby activities we enjoyed included horse riding and world of shells museum. - The main restaurant had a special section for kids meals. - The kids club was small but our kids enjoyed their time. - Staff overall were welcoming and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Upon arrival and check-out they have a waiting lounge with coffee and cool drinks.

Inconsistent offering of drinks in the bars (tap beer). Many amenities not available to use during our stay due to upgrades. Staff looking after the water sports are not managed and provide bad service. Not offering use of snorkelling equipment.

Local Mauritian food and passionate staff. Pool and rooms were beautiful. Denison is an assett to the hotel. Massages were exceptional.

High humidity, wet sheets on bed, many mosqitos, cutting grass infront of the patio while we were sitting there, insufficient light in the room, we could not close balcony door, baveriges not included in half board otherwise overprice
