Drive to property is a little unnerving initially as steep and narrow but not scary once you get used to it!

Stunning location. Friendly staff. Breakfast delivered to door. All the essentials provided in the house.

The location is not very convenient. For those without a car this would be an obstacle, if not impossible. Not near the most beautiful beach.

The view from the entrance is very beautiful. The place is relaxing and quiet. Very nice. Breakfast quite good. Close to La Vallée de Ferney and to the airport.

It is quite a rough steep track up to the property. We only only had a small hire car so had to be quite careful driving up.

The view was lovely. It was a nice spot for a couple of nights self catering.

The room smelled a bit. Especially the cushions. It would really help to renovate it a little bit, just to refresh it. If the rooms were maintained the same as the garden it would be 10 out of 10. Watch out for the mosquitoes, but it is a bit the same as in other places on the island. It is far from civilization, so if you do not have a car, you are lost.

The location is amazing. The viewpoint above the accomodation is stunning. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast, delivered in a basket - you have to cook your eggs. The garden is very well maintained. It is far from civilization, peaceful and quiet.

the swimming pool is tiny which is fine but we thought it would be bigger going by the photos.

It is of a traditional style so will not be spotlessly clean and that was no problem. The views were great, the gardens lovely, the walk up to see even more of a view, and we found it easy to drive to and from with our hire car. The fridge was big and we had everything we needed

Tip: Nice to get fresh fruit for breakfast. Nice to have screens for the windows and doors so you can sleep with them open.

Super location in the middle of nature! Wonderful views amidst the sounds of birds. The house was nice and roomy and authentic set-up. The kitchen was well equiped but not luxurious (ie no dishwasher or washer/dryer) Staff did a good job hosting incl breakfast.

It was not the cleanest, obviously in tropical places bugs and lizards are prevalent but this was unbelievably uncomfortable, lizards in our bathroom everyday and eaten alive by mosquitoes. We had breakfast included but this meant a loaf of bread, 4 eggs and milk delivered each day, which we had to prepare but they didn’t really have a lot of cooking utensils. Towels and sheets weren’t changed daily and due to humidity everything was damp and didn’t dry properly.

The view is absolutely incredible you are in the top of the mountain and can see mountains, valleys and the ocean. It’s lovely and quiet and tucked away up high but this was tricky for transport.

TOO MANY FLIES, ANTS AND OTHER NON WELCOMED ANIMALS INSIDE THE HOUSE. the room was NOT cleaned for a long time, the sheets were not cleaned, the walls were so dirty and a worm waited for us in the kettle... The hot water in the shower was not working and there was not any one to call to via phone. Cookware was dirty.

The view was very nice. The staff was nice.

The house itself is not well protected against penetrating a big insect inside. We had cockroaches coming in every day/night. They need to pay more attention to this aspect. Using nets in windows could help as well as protecting waste pipes from the sink. The bathroom stinks with mold. They should do a new painting in all rooms. The walls are very dirty. The staff is friendly, trying to help and clean anytime you need. But dirty walls can't be just cleaned. The house needs more care, maybe a woman's care. Breakfast included raw eggs. When I order house with breakfast I expected something more for that money.

The place, garden, view, and turtles in property are beautiful.

There is a huge mosquito issue there although we have used many typed of repellent but they were still not enough. just spending a few minutes outside and you will get heavily bitten, me and my family really suffered from this and had to spend the next day indoor. The kitchen appliances were in really bad shape and dirty. in general the place is pretty old and needs renovation.

The place is in a great location with amazing view, it is enjoyable just to isolate yourself for a few days in the mountain. The host Sameer was so friendly and tried to help as much as he can.

Beautiful house in lush surroundings. It felt like a family summer home. The pool was gorgeous and clean and if it hadn't been raining we would have been in it all the time. The mountain path is right there, with an amazing viewpoint. Everyone was super helpful, highly recommended.

Didn't age well, needs to be done up or at least painted. Was very dirty and full of bugs. Lacked basic stuff in the kitchen. We left half way through the stay - unable to get a refund for the last 4 days.

Mosquitoes were about alot but that couldn't be helped as we are in the mountains! If you come prepared you should be fine.

We were accommodated for in so many ways. The host was lovely. We loved the venue & also the morning breakfast hampers we were given. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

It was dirty!! Bedlinen was not clean in any of the beds. We had to pick out the "cleanest" sheets and pillow throws from two beds and put together to one fairly acceptable. Removed the inner throw from the sheets for that one had not been washed and mattress cover also not in some time from the looks of it. Furniture very dirty (both i lndoor sofas and outdoor. Even for being in a country house/traditional style). Lots of spiderwebs in corners but also around bedsidetables, under dining table. Appliances and kitchenware were clean, but trashcan and ovenfront were super sticky! And the overall feeling in the kitchen was unclean. Bathroom and towels were clean. Some mold in shower but that is normal in a humid place. Same with bugs, they are to be expected in a countyhouse so not bothered by that. Bring mosquito spray in abundance though. We were very dissapointed at the standard of this place especially surprising after reading the good reviews. If you are not too picky with cleanliness, it's ok for a calm retreat.

The view is stunning! Giant tortoises on the property. The possibility to barbacue. Nice garden and beautiful nature around and great sunset view from the balcony. Great internet connection.

Apart from mosquitoes, everything was just as we wanted.

If you love nature and tranquility it's the place to be. The place is cozy and simple. We were able to disconnect ourselves from our job and a great way to unwind at La Hacienda. You can also give a walk in the forest and la vallée de Ferney is not that far for hiking.
