Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Well...everything. The area is quite huge, you can have lots of activities:) walking in the beach, snorkeling, kayaking, paddling, spa, gym etc etc. The beach is very beautiful! and not a lot of people in the mornings:) the surrounding nature is 12 out of 10! and the staff is very helpful!

Although the hotel was almost full of guests, it was not noticeable - there are many pools and a lot of space. The main pool is large and beautiful and overlooks the sea

Rooms are very big and comfortable, beach is long and there are enough sunbeds for everyone. Territory is massive, green and with the view of the mountain from everywhere. Because 2 hotels (Dinarobin and Paradise) share one territory it’s super big (golf courses look incredible). Also there are lots of restaurants to choose from (again because there are 2 hotels together). Really a perfect place (will come back for sure)

RwandaIt would be nice to have an easier option for dinner. The beachside restaurant closed at 4:30, so you either have to wait until 7 for the buffet and other restaurants to open, or order room service (with a limited menu). Neither are awesome options for younger kids. We also weren't totally sure if we were allowed to order food to the beach and/or pool. Some staff said yes, some said no. So a little confusing. Otherwise, a wonderful, stress free stay.
The Dinarobin Beachcomber is in a fantastic location, right underneath La Morne, a world heritage site. There are only a few resorts right in this area (including the Beachcomber Paradis, which runs into the Dinarobin, and you can access it). The grounds are immaculate, the pool is beautiful, and there are small quiet pools in each cluster of buildings. All rooms (to my knowledge) have ocean views. The beach is great and just steps away from each room. Delicious food at the buffet each night was themed and varied. The breakfast has everything you would want. Our kids also loved the Kids Club, which had daily activities such as treasure hunts and dance parties. A great choice - exactly what we pictured for Mauritius.

RussiaCocktails in the main restaurant was not good, just half of glass alcohol and half juices. But the price of them are too high, like at the bars of manhattan. Quality of spa procedures was also so so.
Everything, especially beauty of this place. Rooms, small pools, amazing spa area, and, of course, Le Morne, - magical views! Large green territory, rooms at the beach, - we are absolutely loved this place! Really hope that we will come back .

LatviaFood in hotel restaurants is rarely great and this is no exception. The food is not bad, but not great either. Even though there is a great variety of restaurants in the two sister resorts (Dinarobin and Paradis) and you can visit all of them, being in Mauritius I would recommend exploring nice restaurants and local food. Actually, there is one very good just at the gate of Paradis - Wapalapam. You take a walk or ask the hotel to take you to the entrance gate of Paradis and you are there! My only inconvenience was the bottom of the ocean. It is full of small sharp stones and it is quite easy to cut your foot.
This is an amazing place, especially for those who love nature. You feel like living in the botanic garden between an amazing mountain and the ocean. Even though it is quite a large resort, you feel very private, there are little swimming pools between every few houses. The personnel is very polite, at the same time not too humble. Attentive, but not intrusive.

RomaniaEverything was impeccable.
Absolutely perfect location, top notch facilities and the services were incredible. It really is a paradise, from the buffet restaurant (which is so far from the usual buffet that it can be considered in other dimensions) to the heated pools and the perfect ocean and sunsets near the Morne Brabant, the giant rock that oversees the location. Will surely come back to the Dinarobin Beachcomber.

Francethin walls between rooms , the fact that the pools didn't have a non smoking policy and that anyone from any crescent or paradis resort could come and use them. Water is free in rooms ( daily delivery ) yet charged at a premium anywhere esle.
The rooms although a bit old where extremely comfortable and we dearly appreciated the service. Proximity to the private beach was fantastic.
