Unfortunately for me, mosquitos are attracted to me! The lush gardens attract them. At around 4pm, I had to leave the pool area because of mosquitos. It wasn't a problem, I just applied deet and the lovely security guard burned mosquitos coils. There is nothing the guesthouse can do about this and it's not a negative point. Just a fact about a tropical country. Would still return on our next visit.

The quiet location, set off the main road, was perfect. Close to grand baie but also 5 minutes to lovely pereybere beach. Some lovely little local restaurants on the main road. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool and gardens are the highlight. Tropical gardens and so peaceful. You can book a massage at the spa which was fantastic! Breakfast is very good, lots of beautiful fresh fruit and choice of eggs and bacon, pancakes and toast. The honesty bar is a nice touch. But the staff make this place. Judy was delightful and chatted every morning, making sure every guest felt welcomed. She is a credit to the guesthouse. However, all the staff were friendly, from the managers to the security guards. Staying in a small guest house gives you the opportunity to mix with local people and feel as if you are in a Mauritian home. Highly recommended.

Nothing I didn't like. All was excellent.

Everything was exceptional. It's a boutique guest house so fairly small but it's charming. The rooms are generous, comfortable and clean. The bathroom is well apportioned and clean. The pool and surrounding area is wonderfully relaxing. The staff are incredible, from Dimitri and John, the managers, to the cleaning and security staff, everyone goes out of their way to assist and make one's stay comfortable. The breakfast is generous and substantially varied from seasonal fruits to cereals, cold meats, cheese and choice of eggs. I highly recommend this venue. It's a mere 3-minute walk from Pereybere beach, one of the best public beaches in the area.

Lovely clean room with good breakfast buffet. Great and friendly hosts and staff. The quiet location between Grand Baie and Pereybere is perfect. We enjoyed our stay here.

Besides breakfast, you do have to venture out to get food as there's no restaurant or snacks. That being said, the location is very close to restaurants and there is a bar fridge Incase you do want some drinks (including non-alcoholic options).

The staff really went above and beyond, I felt like any needs were met (I.e. earlier breakfast, organising taxis, providing painkillers) and there was support even when the lobby was closed. The outdoor space was serene for breakfast, you get a view of multiple birds, fresh fruit and more options.

It was honestly the best service and guesthouse me and my boyfriend have ever experienced. The personnel, John and Dimitri, helped us with everything, from trips to tips on what to do and what is good. They will help you with everything, and are such nice people. The atmosphere was amazing and also the garden, the room, the breakfast, the pool and the extremely sweet ladies in the kitchen and cleaning. Best experience in Mauritius! Can really recommend this place!!!

Nothing - everything was great.

This guesthouse is beautiful! The room was clean, spacious and had a nice kitchen unit. The breakfast was great with a variety of a choices including eggs your way, crepes, fruits, omelette, croissants etc. and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had even brought tennis rackets with us to play while in the area and the staff called around multiple different venues until they found us a court that we could use. We also decided to have the deep tissue massage on the final day as a relaxing way to end the trip and the staff arranged everything for us.

This property deserves to be on the beach front! Imagine what it could be like!

John and Dimitri run a good establishment. John was there to welcome us in person, which we appreciated. Dimitri was a wealth of information, advising on what to do and where to go. They really went beyond the necessary to make our stay such a joyous experience. The beautiful and well-manicured garden is refreshing. We loved the ambience and the quiet space. Most of all, the ladies at the establishment were just out of this world! MAWTEE did everything promptly, with a smile, and she added that motherly touch to everything. We will certainly miss her breakfast preparations and kindness. NASHIRA was such a lovely young lady, taking the initiative to provide any assistance during our stay. The housekeeping ladies were also wonderful. Very prompt to attend to our requests. We loved the culture of a friendly "good morning", and the family touch of finding out if things are still going well with our stay. We will certainly return some day just to experience the care of these ladies. An absolutely enjoyable stay at Bleu de Toi. We loved it to bits!

The cleanliness in the room (stains on the sheets, on the pillows) and the bathroom needs a revamp.

Breakfast was very good. The staff, beginning with the reception, cleaning lady and breakfast lady - everyone is amazing, nice and warm. The space is welcoming.

The place is lovely, it has an amazing garden and unique atmosphere:) it’s close to the beach but still quiet and secluded. The staff are incredible! Really enjoyed our stay at Bleu de Toi Boutique, a big thank you to John, Dimitri, Mawtee and Joute and the gardener you made us so welcome. Missing Mawtee cooked breakfast. Great for location for beach and restaurants. Your were fantastic hosts hopefully we will see again.
