The room condition could be improved a bit more. It wasn’t easy to book water sports as it’s fully booked or wind.

It was a good value for what we paid for all-inclusive. Staff and food quality were so good. All was well cooked, delicious, various, enjoyable especially the main buffet and the food truck(?) one. Drinks were also all good. Staff were all nice. Sauna, spa, gym were also nice to use. Atmosphere at night time was lovely and romantic with nice food, drinks and live music.

However, the weather in the eastern part of Mauritius seems to be unpredictable. When we visited in May, it was very windy and cold. It would be better to visit this resort when the weather is warmer. Additionally, the drive from the airport to the resort was a bit rough.

This resort is very modern and beautiful. The food, in particular, was very satisfying. The breakfast menu changed regularly, so it never felt boring. Despite the bad weather during our stay, the resort's cleanliness, modernity, and delicious food made our experience very satisfying. We spent our honeymoon here and were grateful for the many services provided as honeymoon perks, such as champagne and free lunch, which enriched our journey.

Stayed in the Villa for the first time, without a doubt the most luxurious stay. It surpassed our expectations. Everything was great. The weather wasn't the best but we still made the most of our stay. For the villa pool, it is heated so great to use in the colder weather too. We were served canapés in our room including a floating one for the pool - great experience. Room had everything you would need, small kitchen for tea/coffee, large bathroom overlooking the private pool and access to the private beach from the back of your villa. Bed was very comfortable and large with large TV. Villa includes bluetooth speakers which play inside and for the outside private pool area- very fun having this to use whilst you are spending time in the villa. The facilities of the hotel are amazing too! Buffet breakfast and dinner is a must, service is great and range of food is incredible. Having access to private beach is very convenient for multiple trips in the day. The spa/sauna facilities, gym, tennis court, pool table, table tennis etc are great additional facilities included with your stay. We had 2 butlers Haymen and Kirti (not 100% on spelling) they were very handy to have on call incase you needed anything and very friendly and welcoming thank you.

All my correspondence I was addressed as Mr even after multiple corrections which I think is unprofessional.

Very clean and amazing amenities. The staff is friendly and everything one needs is at close proximity. The food is so great and I love that there’s multiple restaurants to dine from on the premises.

Evening buffet was amazing but very expensive as we didn’t have this included in our package. Although other restaurant options these were also expensive and normally all fully booked.

The staff were extremely attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The gym /fitness staff were really keen to show us all the equipment and help us and we loved that there were free exercise classes with great staff.

1-the room floor had stains 2- a quiet part of Mauritius so limited options outside of the resort 3- buffet is extremely expensive 10000mauritian rupees is a lot for a dinner coming from the African continent

1- the junior suites are big and have a love ocean view even though it wasn’t the option I selected. 2- proximity to the ocean was as advertised 3-the main pools was shallow enough for kids to swim 4-assortment of restaurants 5- the floors were tiled. This is excellent for people who have allergies 6- family friendly activities for the kids and adults 7- ideal for honeymoon and complete relaxation 8- the staff was. Well trained courteous and really went over and above to make us feel welcome

First of all the prices for food and beverages are very high. The price of over 100Euro per person for dinner is exaggerated. I would expect a little less pressure from the employees of the bar to order additional beverages. It is not nice that every 2-3 minutes someone comes up to you offering more drinks...

Absolutely nothing

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we knew our stay would be amazing. We were greeted by the gorgeous Alisha who checked us in and showed us around the hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, with its lush gardens and pristine clear beaches. We opted for the all inclusive package and it was worth every penny. With this package, all food and drinks are included (including the room’s mini bar) and a number of water sports. The hotel offers a variety of different restaurants all of which serve the most delicious food, we were honestly lost for choice. During our stay we also visited the famous Indian restaurant Amari by Vineet, the food quality here was exceptional. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had the best most comfortable stay. A special mention to Bilal from Maison Lux Cafe, who made the best coffees, Ravin, manager of the restaurants who made sure we were taken care of and always checked in on us, and Jennifer, who took care of organising events and dinner for our anniversary and birthday. Also a shoutout to the staff at the gym (sadly I didn’t ask for their names) but they were all friendly and welcoming! We honestly can’t recommend Lux Belle Mare enough, it’s the best place we’ve stayed in thus far and cannot wait to visit again.

Our first trip to Lux Belle Mare was supposed to be a one-off. After 3 consecutive Easters there we can’t rave about it enough. It ticks all the obvious boxes - amazing pool/beautiful beach/excellent food and cocktails - list goes on. But it’s the staff that make this hotel next-level. I asked my 6yr old what his favourite thing about Luxl is, he said ‘it’s as if everyone knows me’. And that’s exactly it. From personal touches like remembering my 2yr olds favourite ice cream to taking a moment to greet my kids, the Belle Mare has a special way of making guests feel at home. Thank you Nitin, Vinns, Vijay, Bhawoo, Abi, Vishal for ensuring I was never without a Bellini. Although I fear that my kids will never be happy with retailer juice again after your rainbow mocktails. Yuv, Kris, our over attendance at Beach Rouge says everything you need to know about our experience. Chris, Satish, pool time wouldn't be the same without you. Thank you Owen, Shikha, Akshay, Luvish, Vinns, Doorgha for your friendly service. Praveen, thank you for making our trip to the dentist so smooth. Sheila glad to catch you before leaving! Drinks and Spa services really overpriced (Switzerland prices so far). Not enough night entertainment for solo travelers after dinner .

I am a solo traveler and a hospitality expert myself. I have been to thousands of hotels across the planet and Lux* Belle Mare was a wonderful discovery. Great is just not enough to define this place and its staff. I was traveling alone and felt welcomed from the very first second and until end of my stay ( 6 nights). The hotel design will blow your mind away, it’s just modern and beautiful. A truly relaxing place with a sensational spa and amazing therapists. A super nice gym and also a book and tea room where you can relax. The little lake with the fishes and the beautiful rooms, the beach and the fast personalized service.The Food is just everywhere excellent and most important, every single person of the staff in this hotel is highly professional and kind that you will just feel at home. I wanted to extend but the hotel was fully booked and I was truly sad to leave this paradise. I am in love with this hotel which is family friendly and also couple friendly. For solo travelers there is not much entertainment however if you are a solo traveler you can enjoy the spa and live music at the bar. The best hotel in Mauritius ( I tried 4 hotels 5 start on the island including lux* le morne, but Lux* Belle Mare is a way better under every point of view). I believe that Le Morne has a big potential but the hotel is not on the level of Belle Mare regarding service and food quality. Why still 8 out of 10: - No swimming in the sea. The security net is so close to the shore and it is so shallow that you can’t practically swim, if you wan to swim - only outside of the safety area. - The smell of the waterfront is very distinct. One of the reasons we didn’t swim in the ocean. Actually almost no-one was using ocean - USE Antiseptic everywhere. My wife got a heavy poisoning, which was really disappointing. I don’t believe from the food, though… I saw low attention to hygiene while handling dishes, forks, etc. - Bar is not professional. Cocktails are nothing. The person serving us literally didn’t know what is champagne and had to ask his supervisor. - Air-conditioner in the room was driving me a bit mad. It was producing very cold air only. And without a/c it was difficult. Opening window was not solving problem due to mosquitos. So I had to switch on/off every 10-15 mins. But honestly, this is a problem of most of hotels, plus a personal thing

This was our favourite part of the dinner. + Amazing Peking Duck, but you need to reserve in advance. When we arrived most of the days were fully reserved already + Very good SPA + Great gym with all the latest Technogym smart equipment + Attention/service from personnel is incredibly high (higher than Four Seasons) + Very clean beach compared to other hotels in Mauritius + Internet is good enough for HD, I don’t know why some left comment about slow internet

This hotel offers stunning large rooms which makes the stay really relaxing, the amazing restaurants thats a culinary delight lets you try all the amazing local cuisine and some of the best seafood we have had. The pool facilities are truly amazing , and the Belle Mare beach is really stunning one of the best in Mauritius for a reason. What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff and attention to detail, making it one of the best destinations for families. Thank You.
