Kevin was a wonderful host, the apartment was great, and the view from the balcony takes your breath away. Location was perfect to explore the South. Absolutely recommend!

N/A - The stay was wonderful

Kevin (the host) was very hospitable, met us and handed over the keys. He explained the room as well as different activities in the surrounding areas. He provided numbers to different people and recommendations to restaurants (unfortunately which we didn't try). The room was perfect, and was very clean (especially the floor!!!). The room was cleaned daily, which is much appreciated with bringing sand home from the beaches. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen was fully stocked with the essential utensils, glasses and pots. In terms of location, we had a car so we did not have any trouble, it is 15min drive to the Le Morne hike.

Host Kevin was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It met all our needs for our short stay in La Gaulette. The apartment has a nice view of Le Morne mountain and it’s also walking distance to some local restaurants and the supermarket.

Due to flight problems, we arrived at ArganStone Studio with a delay of several hours in the middle of the night. Our host Kevin was waiting for us and helped us with everything. The facility is located in a very nice district of La Gulette. it is very quiet place and in the morning we wake up only to the beautiful sounds of birds. We had a great rest. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, cleaned every day and well-equipped, fridge, coffee machine, etc. We also had a very good parking space. Great value for money we would definitely like to go back again. Thanks Kevin!

The apartment is furnished very well, absolutely clean with daily change of towels and cleaning of the apartment just like in a hotel. The bathroom has windows and daylight and the balcony is nice for having breakfast in the morning with a lot of birds in the surrounding. Kevin is a perfect host with useful tips and additional help whenever needed. We will definitely come back.

The fridge was very noisy and we had to use earplugs for sleeping.

The apartment has been cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for cooking simple meals. The host have been extremely nice and gave us a lot of tips for moving around the island.

Centrally located to Le Morne Beach and mountain, Chamarel and access to the West Coast. Close to restaurants and boats to the Ile Benitier island and Crystal Rock. Great host, down to earth, chilled, very friendly and very responsive. Awesome views from the terrace.

Really happy to had the opportunity to stay in this appartement. It was the best accomodation we had in Mauritius. It is newly renovated and very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed really comfortable and the view from the balcony is gorgeous.

A mirror in the room would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

It was a great experience from start to finish. We were welcomed upon arrival and shown our room which was very thoroughly cleaned. The airco is new and really good. In fact everything is new or very well taken care off. We also liked the coffee machine and having a perfect cosy balcony for our morning breakfasts. Our towels were changed daily and they smelled so good. Location has good proximity to beaches, market, restaurants and sights. The host was a cool guy and he gave us some good tips which made our life easier. We definitely recommend this place.

The location of Arkenstone Studios (three in number and all three on the first floor) is excellent. We were there for 6 night View of the ocean and the mountain Le Morne. The location is also excellent for excursions. You can easily get to Chamarel, the beaches of Le Morne, Tamarin, Le Grand Basin, Flic en Flac and the southern west coast. Arkenstone Studios has a finely divided kitchen/bedroom and a practical bathroom. The shower is spacious! Everything is contemporary. The studios have a small but nice balcony with a view of the ocean and the mountain Le Morne. You sleep on a good mattress in a king-size bed in a quiet environment. The kitchen is well equipped with two gas burners, a good fridge with freezer and a microwave. You can park your car safely there. An excellent, modern supermarket is within walking distance. And last but not last: the studio is kept perfectly clean every day.

Everything was ok. What could be nice to have is some amenities in the bathroom (shampoo, shower soap, hair dryer...) and the kitchen (coffee, tea, water....).
