Cleaning was not that great. I had to call guest services. It was then sorted. Shower water was a bit cold at times.

Rooms were too wet, maybe some problems with a ventilation. If you entered the room with wet shoes the floor will never get dry, as all your clothes and etc.

Little things - we had no batteries in our TV control. We had to ask multiple times for ice to be brought to our room, which took over an hour to come. Sometimes, it seemed like the staff didn't communicate with each other as we had requested a romantic breakfast at reception and on the morning off the breakfast staff where unaware of our request.

Best all-inclusive food we've ever eaten (Almond Croissants all day). Rooms were clean, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and even advised us to exchange money in town rather than at the hotel.

The room was too cold. We complaint the Airconditioning was very cold adjusted. We opened the window and put off this cold AC. Put on the Ventilator. But the room was so cold, that the floor and walls was already completely wet, when we arrived. Though we had to try it. The Staff did not offer a new room. This is what we complain. The Staff should moor respect what customers say.

It was a pleasure to be in Antara IKO Mauritius. The kitchen was very good and friendly.

The breakfast, I felt the quality was not as good as in some other 5-star resorts. There are birds flying around the area where food is served eating bread under the napkins that try to cover food from the birds. I felt it’s not very hygienic.

Kids club is great with very nice personnel. I also like the restaurants and the spa treatments.

Staff was very nice but The service was super extra slow. For example we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for breakfast after they told us it would take 30-45 minutes! For a one course lunch it took almost 2 hours !

Even though we kept the door to the patio closed the floor became excessively wet from condensation. Especially at night. It caused the clothes being put out to wear next day and bedclothes to be damp.

We were charged very exorbitantly for everything on the new year's gala dinner despite us being residents with the hotel, a glass of champagne was R2800 Equivalent to USD 65.

Manager Yodish was 100% wonderful. He made the stay brilliant, over and beyond. All the other staff were also great.

Too many kids, water current is too strong to swim! The property can be made more lively with a nice lively beach bar and music by the pool for extended hours - not just quiet evenings. A retirement home kind of feel !

some mismanagement in restaurant service making it slow sometimes. Room was clean, bathroom was not clean enough for a 5-star hotel.

the location is great! very relaxing hotel and good atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming, caring and friendly. The view from the breakfast restaurant is absolutely breathtaking and refreshing. The kids club is a bonus.

If you don’t have a car, it is difficult to get away from the resort without spending a fortune on hotel taxis. A shuttle bus to main towns and attractions would have made the stay perfect.

Beautiful environment- fantastic pool area, amazing view from the breakfast room, beautiful gardens, helpful and friendly staff, excellent food.

However the stuff (even though they are nice, polite and they try their best!) seems to lack a good management and communication… People are there and even though they are working hard, they are not aligned hence guests are not happy with the outcome… You can see it in room service, servers and the rest of the crew. And I writing this with a broken heart because I appreciated all they have done to us. On top of it, the hotel takes an advantage of the location and the fact of no other gastronomy option beside theirs in the area. Long story short - take all inclusive. Open buffet (with waaay better food options) costs 2500 MRU (ca 50€) per person. A la carte restaurant cost for 2x wines, 2x app and 2 mains will be around 100€ too. So easy math :) The a la carte restaurants are overpriced and do not match the quality. Staff is just a group of headless chicken. I do not get the idea behind it, however it was what I have found. I believe with a bit of an effort and good management they can level up easily. However it did not happen during my stay.

Nice location and a very interesting concept. The beach and the sea, close to the Blur Bay as well as the activities in the hotel make it comfy. Also, the hotel is very new ;)

service/staff at the bar were truly slow (drinks, coffee at breakfast), cleanliness in the room (sands on floor; also no options to shower/clean the feet when coming from the beach), use of plastic bottles to replenish water in the rooms, no umbrellas at the beach (also likely not the best beach/sea when traveling w/ kids)

new resort, much less crowded location, nice and green surroundings (eg. allowing to stroll/bike along uninhabited beach on one side); superb special restaurants (at no extra costs), good value for money (eg. comparing to another luxury resort we stayed at), very nice garden/botanics

We were offered a room with two single beds for two adults and two kids. Might be because we came in last minute and no other room was ready for us this late at night. I certain with more time the staff would have made us more confortable.

Location with blue bay and airport at your door step. Wild beach, lots of green areas and peacefull. Great kids club. Good food and great staff overall

Beautifully appointed reception area, gardens and accommodation. The tranquil forest was an added bonus. I loved doing yoga there amongst the trees hearing the birds and ocean.

the food selection was limited choice that in an isolated area with no delivery service outside there should be loads of options variety of cuisine options.

- The calm refreshing vibe that feels so relaxing. - The Staff who are playing the major role into making ur vacation stay exceptional, from the reception staff who welcomed us warmly, house keeping was amazing , restaurant staff were very helpful and caring and whoever were around the property would smile and greet us. - The activities were spot on what i would recommend they should add cooking activity and water sport on the property.

The wardrobe in the room was broken, there was no shampoo and only one cup for two people. The hotel could not help to arrange a taxi to the airport. The menu was not vegan friendly.

The hotel is set in the nature reserve which is beautiful but meant that that sea is slightly rougher here than other areas on the island.

The staff at this hotel were lovely and amazingly helpful. We had to book in an emergency due to our plane being delayed over two nights and the staff were so helpful throughout. We also had the buffet dinner which was delicious and had a huge amount of variety.
