Room should have terrace and some staff should treat mauritian and tourists same which was not the case. Mauritians are not given the same treatment.

what’s not to like??

Ambre had such an amazing vibe and the beach, the pool, the food and the staff were all AMAZING!! We had come from a neighbouring resort and Ambre was bar none a thousand times better, right from the get go, we won’t stay at any other resort when we come to Mauritius again - Ambre has stolen our hearts!! ❤️Tracy checked us in was very thorough & friendly. We had a large quiet, beautiful, clean, room & the king sized bed was so comfy. The complimentary mini bar in the room was restocked daily with beer, pop, water, chocolate bars & chip - Nice touch!! We also really like the tea & coffee (with real milk) that was provided in the room - Nice Touch. We also had a beautiful ocean facing deck that had comfortable furniture. Ravish looked after our room perfectly was super friendly & professional. We celebrated my husbands 60th bday at Dolce Vita - Davisen the restaurant Manager & Ayess took very good care of us, making us feel very valued & special, the service that was provided was the best - professional, friendly & the food was delicious & top quality. We celebrated our 25yr anniversary at Le Plage & Ashiss was wonderful, friendly & professional - the food was excellent!! Anntish looked after our food/drinks on the beach, he was amazing & always had a beautiful smile for us! Vishnu the bartender & Ashwin in the poolside lounge were both so prompt, efficient & friendly. The buffet where we mostly ate had a really great selection of hot and cold food with an ever-changing menu of local & international dishes . All in all we had a wonderful stay at Ambre & all of the staff were super. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

We went there for my husband’s birthday mixed with our wedding anniversary and had the best ever first time experience. Jaya handled our check in and it went quick and smooth . Buffet food breaks fast and dinner very delicious with lots variety . We took the half board option it included dinner and breakfast daily. Mr Reza and Hashish at the Restaurant took very good care of us and even offered us a complimentary lunch the day of our departure and that was very lovely thank you very much . We will definitely be coming back and it was well worth the money .

The location is amazing, the food is great, the people are nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is good and I aprreciated the fact that was less salty. The beach and the water are really beautiful. They also offer free equipment for water sports and a snorkeling trip per day, to a beautiful coral area. We highly recommend!

the pool area is too small and guests end up seating or reserving pool area while they go off to do excursion the entire day so theres never space if you dont wake up early. its really frustrating and makes the experience not so great.

Rarely have I been to a hotel, especially 5 stars, where the staff has treated me so rude as in here. Day 1 - I was happy to arrive for the holiday - the manager comes to me telling me that we don’t have full board included (I paid for full board) and immediately messed up my mood. I had to argue with them only to solve it after 3-4 days. They never ever changed our bed sheets even if we offered them tips for this to happen. No way. We’ve had the same dirty sheets during all our stay. The pool waiter told me that he won’t serve me the cappucino and that I should come pick it up from the bar myself. Man, I’m on holiday. I’m not there to waste half an hour of my beach time, really!!! Last but not least, a waitress offended me and almost pushed me for sitting in front of her while she wanted to pass. I haven’t seen her… For week number two we moved to a real 5-star hotel where we’ve been treated like real important tourists with a very small money difference. People! We’rw on holiday! You’re a five star hotel. Wake up!

I love the beauty of the location and the atmosphere of the Hotel and friendly and accommodating staff.
