We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Amazing hotel with beautiful gardens, amazing landscape and very tasty breakfast and dinner. All the staff, from the very helpful and kind hotel manager Mrs. Rova to Charlene our restaurant host and the owners, were very warm hearted and attentive. We would go back again without second thought!!

CanadaI pretty much liked everything but one surprise was that the huts on the pier have their bathrooms on land. This is on the hotel info, I just didn't read it. You get your own toilet and shower room but you have to walk to it.
When I booked, I thought Lakana was a bit more expensive than some other places. But meals were included so it would balance out. But, those meals!! Amazing. Great breakfast (egg, juice, bread, donut things, coffee, bread, fruit!). And dinners - three course, fancy, delicious. All set in an outdoor dining room with a view of the ocean. Also, Rova is amazing!! She gave me suggestions for what to do on the island and arranged tuktuks. And, they picked me up at the airport - for free! They were just there, waiting for me. My flight from Antananarivo was delayed by a day, they didn't charge me for my room that night. then it was delayed by a day leaving. they dealt with the airline to get them to pay for my room that night too. And the rooms! So beautiful! I got one out at the end of the pier with the most amazing view of the ocean! Also (so much to love), they have Madagascar tortoises that eat the cut flowers if you feed them.

Czech RepublicBeautiful resort near the seaport (15 min) and airport (15 min). They arrange hotel airport transfer. Hotel is so nice, great restaurant, bar and the water bungalows are perfect for honeymoon. Some of them are under reconstruction. It is an oasis of calm. Staff is kind and helpful. Receptionist and her boss speak very well English (as we dont speak French). Food is delicious and looks pretty. They help you with everything you need (for example bicycle rent). We enjoyed our stay and can recommend. Note: The boat arrives on the island only once per day.

United StatesDinner is later than our liking begins at 1930. The special course meal for the holiday was even later. There was only one meal option unlike two options every other day. It was too much food for the meal not to have other options that would have been more to our liking.
The Staff and location were great. Breakfast was good and enjoyable. Recommend for a four day stay. The island is small and it doesn’t take many days to enjoy your stay and see what the island has to offer.

GermanyIt was an amazing stay, just upon arrival I could see whales from my bungalow, which was beautifully decorated with flowers. Also during breakfast there were whales playing just in eyesight. The staff is super friendly, even if they don’t understand everything in English they do everything possible to help you. Rova the manager of the hotel was incredible, always up for a chat with her guests. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, I actually wanted to cancel the rest of my trip just to stay there. And also the snorkeling was very nice, just around the hotel, there is a beautiful garden under water, not so many fish but I spotted various colorful ones. Definitely recommend and if it’s in your budget, choose the water bungalow.

DenmarkFew English speaking staffs. The huts on the water are very uncomfortable when the weather turns windy and rainy. The wind is blowing right through and it gets really cold and noisy.
Warm and clean bedding. Extra blankets for the beds. Good water pressure and proper hot water. Chocolate mousse in the restaurant is amazing.
