The owner is a wonderful woman,very nice with us,responsive and always available to give interesting tips and help when needed! The location is also very nice,at aprox. 10 min walk from the centre of Tiraspol and to an amazing restaurant called"Сново СССР". In the house we also found some tourist information,and therefore could book a great tour with the guide Anton! We loved Old Tiraspol Hostel!

So friendly and welcoming! Lovely and spacious flat. Excellent location! We loved the place so much we came back for a second stay. 15 minutes walk to the bus/train station. 20 minutes to Bendery with trolley bus 19. Very easy to find. Thank you for making our stay really lovely in Tiraspol.

Elena is a great host. Her hospitality is outstanding even with the few English words she uses, she will manage to make you feel at home. Wi-Fi was great, heating works perfectly. Kitchen and bathroom were spotless. and btw, this is the best location you can have in Tiraspol. 5/5

It's an apartment with three bedrooms and a full' kitchen. Super clean hostel, nice people, happy to assist you with any problem. It's a short, level, walk to the fully rehabbed, Soviet massive masonry structures and in the opppsite direction, City Square, beach, river and park. Entrance is through the gate. In the courtyard, walk left to the corner door. Top floor. Hostel is the door on the right. Ring the door on the left. This is where they will be.

we were very surprised with the quality of this place. it’s a normal flat with two rooms (twin beds & double bed) and a dorm one. super friendly staff, hot water, good wifi, good location, some bars and restaurants around, bank and post office just around the corner. I would stay over there again! Maybe the equipment is quite old but we didn’t need anything more than that.

Everything was nice. The location is near all the stuff one has to see. The cat in the yard is adorable!The host let me leave my luggage at the hostel so as to do my last walk without that weight.

To find the hostel for the first time is a bit hard without mobile connection or any signs:( Locals did help me to find, which is amazing.

Thank you for the stay in this amazing place. The host is nice, although her english is not the best she’s very welcoming. The place is nice and clean and in an amazing location. This is for sure the best place to stay in the Country that doesn’t exist. Lenin personally recommended :)

Great host and people at the Hostel. All very friendly and open. The facilities are clean and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. It's also fairly close to the city center. All in all more than exceptional :)

Not a complaint about the hostel, but the stairwell of the building is very poorly lit, with an open trapdoor into a cellar at the bottom - easy to fall into if you're drunk/careless! As to be expected in such an old building, there's no lift, so not accessible for wheelchairs etc

Lovely, authentic interior. Comfy beds and basic but well-equiped and clean kitchen and bathroom. Spacious - most hostel wouldve tried to cram in twice as many beds. Location is perfect for exploring Tiraspol - on a main street but still relatively peaceful

Many old appliances and I had to pay to repair the washing machine's door handle which broke very easily. It was my mistake, but it was very easy to brake.

Small, homely hostel, based out of a style apartment. It is simple but clean and comfortable, and the host speaks enough English to get by. WIFI is excellent. Air con is perfect. It is an excellent way to get a taste of Tiraspol. Payment is in cash in Transnistrian Rubles. The only way to get them is by exchanging cash at an exchange office. They do have ATMs but these are for local or Russian cards. Due to Transnistria's status, no Internet with any carrier except their own, however host did give us WIFI details to connect and WhatsApp her, so that was easy enough

- Great location, in the middle of the city, on the main road. - The owner and his mom were both very friendly and helpful. He doesn't really speak English, but he speaks decent German. - The beds at first feel too soft, but are actually very comfortable, and cause no back pain. I didn't wanna get out in the mornings! We ended up extending our stay. - The place feels like a home, is clean, and has a nice kitchen. - Make sure you save their whatsapp number, to call or message them when you arrive. There is Wifi available that also works outside the building.

it looks very cool from the outside 😉 inside it is a fairly nice socialistic flat. it has a great location right in the middle of the city. therefore you are not far from anything
