Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWhere do I start! Probably the worst thing was the electricity not working in part of the room which meant no heating, no TV and no bedside light for much of my stay. I even had to help fix it myself by watching how the man reset the trip switch in the corridor as it kept tripping. The staff didn't seem at all concerned. Also, on my first night they kept my passport which I only got back the next morning on paying my bill in full. My room was never made up in my 4 night stay so I almost ran out of stuff. The hotel is also very dated in places which I didn't particularly mind but the worst thing of all was the miserable attitude of the staff.
Breakfast was a bit weird but ok. You were given a choice of 3 different breakfasts, were given a token and then had to go out of the hotel and back in. The staff were all miserable but the breakfasts were all ok with nice coffee. The room was ok and the bed comfortable.

United KingdomWell everything could have been better but that is not really the point. Difficult to see how the place will last, so stay now before it goes the way of the National opposite. Also, in summer, pay a little extra for a room with air conditioning, it is worth it.
They upgraded me from a single room to a suite! Sure, I have been in grander rooms, but it was a great place to stay, a relic of the past, and everything worked.
