How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It’s a block from the main train station so there is some pedestrian issues.
Very clean hotel with ample parking for larger cars. Beautiful bathroom. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to main center.

The hotel is very nice and very close to train station. Staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Room was very large and had everything you needed. Bad was very comfortable. I liked my stay very much.

Parking price per day is a bit too expensive.
The hotel is close to the station and aprox 15-20 mins. walking from the city center. Nice rooms, very good breakfast.

Limited parking, maybe there is an option to park in the paid parking next to the hotel.
Great location, hardly 10-15 min walk to the main tourist attractions. Great Breakfast buffet. Friendly and polite staff.

The room is not very sound-proof. I can hear the sound of airplanes in the quiet night. It is not a big problem for me since I have good sleeping quality. But for those people having light sleeping, please be careful with this.
Room is big and clean. Nice staff. The hotel is very close to the main railway station and also a walk-able distance to the old town. Many supermarkets and restaurants around as well.

Entrance at street level obscure. True entrance is at the rear, up 2 levels through a carpark. The building of the hotel is good, but it is surrounded by building projects. Very hard to access by car. Reception staff did not mention that there is a street market on Saturdays that block the roads around the front. In a telephone call, the receptionist did not say that car access to the hotel is through a backstreet carpark. It was not possible to reserve the EV charging facility. The hotel has 2 but one is broken. The hotel charges 20 eur for parking on their site (only 6 parking spaces). We found out that another nearby carpark only charged 14 eur for the night, and has 8 EV charging points. Being told of this upfront during the telephone call would have made life much easier.

I thought the "pay extra to check in between 1pm and 3pm" policy was a bit offputting.
A relatively affordable option in Luxembourg. Quiet rooms. Close to transport and an easy walk from the tourist center. Helpful staff

It was somewhat noisy and loud with outside sounds during the day or air conditioner during the night. But if you are good sleeper or tired you won't bother about it.
The place had almost everything great, the location, facility, breakfast, etc. Would definitely recommend this place of stay if you're looking for exactly the best hotel standards in its category.

If you have to say something, included water bottles would have been nice, but honestly there are so many convenience stores nearby that it’s really not an issue. Great easy stay to see the city
Excellent location - free bus from airport drops off 1-2 minute walk from hotel. Hotel is then only a 5-10 Minute walk to the old town/bars/sights. It’s also a 2 minute walk to the train station. Very kind staff and easy comfortable stay

We experienced no negative issues and overall, we were satisfied.
The staff greeted us with a smile and the check-in process was quickly completed. The hotel's central location provided easy access to centrum. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Although not in the old centre of town, it is only a 10 min walk away, and close to the train station, or with convenient (paid) parking behind the hotel if you are coming by car. The hotel and the rooms are modern and clean. The beds are super comfortable, showers are powerful, and the staff are friendly. In short: everything you want in a hotel.

The room was exactly as expected - big, clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a bit out of the main area, but easy to get to by tram or bus. The staff were very kind!

The room was being cleaned everyday. Breakfast was OK and Breakfast buffet was always full of several things. The location is very convenient as you can easily move around using all means of public transport. City centre is easily accessible on foot
