How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

My room was on the third floor where there was no internet :/ My iPhone only detected an internet signal from the neighboring hotel, Bristol, but not from Kazakiwi. Since the hotel did not send me an invoice immediately after my stay, I had to ask for it. Unfortunately, I received the invoice with errors. So I had to send several emails with explanations. I still haven't received the corrected document (the price for the stay and the credit card details are incorrect on the document I received). Hopefully the hotel will correct and send it to me soon :/
Since my room was on the courtyard side, it was very quiet. I took a room with a large double bed, so the room was perfect for my needs (I was traveling alone). The hotel was very close to the school where I had a training. The breakfast was good - I enjoyed the Chinese ravioli a lot. It's a pity there was no vegetables for breakfast.

There is a lot of works around the hotel. I was grateful that my window led to the quiet inner yard.
The room was perfect - not too spacious but very clean and comfortable. I liked the design and that it was very quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Hotel Kazakiwi Luxembourg is a gem near the central station. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. A perfect choice for a comfortable stay in Luxembourg City!

The room was tiny. Really mikro size. Bathroom also- very small. View from the window wasn't the best- metallic stairways and dirty walls of external corridor. The water after taking shower was everywhere on the floor of bathroom. During the night all the time some noise had been heard.
Room was fully equipped.

Breakfast is slightly expensive for intercontinental buffet style. I had breakfast at the restaurant near the hotel instead as it’s cheaper and they serve warm freshly cooked food.
The location was great. Close to city centre, bus and trum stops are also close. Detox water is at the ground floor for guests. Staff were very kind and helpful. Very stylish room interior design was pretty.

Very friendly staff. Rooms small but comfortable, good sized bathroom. Nice touches such as availability of board games, toiletries provided, fresh water everyday.

Sadly the local works company is digging up the road and pavements outside so the attractive entrance is affected by noise and temporary surfaces. It's a temporary issue and does not affect my view of the hotel and is still very quiet once inside.
Exceptionally clean hotel and everything is of high quality. Nothing to fault and everything works perfectly. Staff are all courteous and very professional. Breakfast/dining room is smart and food is fresh and natural. Great choice of hot or cold food at breakfast. One of the best city hotels I have stayed in.

Nice location, close to the train station and a few mins walk to the City Centre. The staff were very nice and super friendly, the room was fine for a nights stay and we would recommend this hotel to anyone else travelling to Luxembourg.

Honestly, I found nothing to dislike, criticize, or suggest improvements upon. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.
The room was modern and impeccable. What I liked the most were (1) the bed & bedding (extremely comfortable), (2) the breakfast (fresh, healthy and savoury options, and excellent coffee), and (3) the shower. The location is very convenient a short walk from the train station. I appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine and beverage choices in the room, although I didn't get a chance to use it. The hotel felt like an oasis for a woman traveling alone, with lovely decor, very clean and safe.

There are stairs to the bigger rooms and no lift.
They upgraded our room for free, staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great (5 minutes walk from central train station) and the facilities were nice for this size of boutique hotel. Also the breakfast was rich.
