The stay was very comfortable and it was quiet as well, as it was in the nature. We stayed for 3 nights and the place was equipped well with kitchen, outside dining table, enough towels, drying rack. Swimming pool was clean. Everyday there is some or the other event in the village which is quite engaging. Also, there is a market inside the village where you can do basic grocery shopping if you need breads, snacks etc. There is a small cafe, restaurant and quick bites place. So basically everything what you need during your stay. The parking was free as well

Accommodations are very close to one another, which may result in hearing peole talk even when you (or they) are inside their mobile homes. Or you hear their music since some people think it's normal to play stuff on full volume while on a campsite.. Tips for Hu Berkelt Village: a coat rack or hooks for your coats would be great, and a fly screen in front of the door/living room window (they are installed in the bedrooms, that's great), the glass cutting board in combination with unsharp knives can be kinda dangerous so we would suggest to replace those :)

The bungalows are quite close to each other so you don’t get much privacy from the neighbours.

Great place located to several beautiful hikes, you get to relax and have access to several needed equipments. Houses are clean and tidy.

It seemed a little strange to me that we set on the duvet and pillow covers, and sheets. Those was in a pack whan we take the room. We stayed 3 days and nobody came for clean or replace tovels, dustbins, new toilet papers etc. It was my first time for stay in camping accomodation. May be these are normal.

- This morning there was an overall power cut. - We inserted a coin in a game machine, but the machine proved to be out of service and the money could not be retrieved. - There was no possibility to get money at the park itself. - The water at the toilet kept on running, despite an intervention of a plumber.

The location was magnificent, situated in the neighborhood of an old castle. The animation team for the children was also excellent!

At our bungalow, we could have done with a couple more bits of cleaning products, such as washing liquid and toilet rolls. Since our stay wasn't long and we had to travel (fly) it doesn't make sense to buy certain products that come up quite expensive, in sizes which can't be carried on a flight. And definitely, a toilet mat for when we come out of the shower. The smoke detector piece, fell from the ceiling straight on one of the plates at dinner time, just missing one of us on the head by a second. No harm done, but not a pleasant moment. The indoor pool which we know is still ongoing improvements, was ok but in need of a bit of love, specially hygiene wise (on floor) and a couple of broken changing rooms' locks. Since the ceiling has been subject to works, something must have fallen from it and my youngest got a thin metal shard on her foot. We reported to the pool vigilant. We didn't hear about it. A few bits could be improved such as a couple of lights that didn't work fully (weak and flickering) and the door holders (the white plastic bits near the floor outside) were broken but nothing that would change our view of how positive our stay was.

The stunning views and hiking trails and unforgettable! Amazing places to walk and relax. Places for grocerie shopping are available at both the park and the nearby village centre until 7pm. The fact that all guests respected the right to quietness at evening/night at the park was much appreciated. The swimming pool, children's playground and free transports were a big plus. All staff was delightful and so helpful. The outdoor swimming pool is amazing, clean, pleasant to be on. Spacious and plenty of stretches to sunbathe and relax. A bar is available although still closed at this point but there is the main park bar just behind. A wide slide for the children provides plenty of fun and the pool is supervised and safe.

Swimming pool water too cold for my 4 year old daughter to swim. She got disappointed and could not stay for long in the indoor pool. Would expect the indoor swimming pool to be warm enough for small children and a proper shower and changing facilities would also be great addition.

Slow/weak internet. Hard to get optimal temperature in the shower, scorching hot or ice cold.

Friendly staff, great place for kids with playgrounds and a lot of activities, including entertainment/disco every evening (in a mixed English/German/Dutch language), the mobile home standards were great and the pool was nice! In addition, there is a grocery store, a restaurant and bar and a takeaway on the compound! Close to town with shopping mall and grocery store. Internet included.

Two bedroom lodge was tiny. Only one bathroom in the property made it hard for 4 member family. 30 minutes driving to city centre

Clean and tidy place. Full of activities in the middle of prolonged green area. Ideal for a quiet vacation. Coffee shop at the reception was beautiful
