Staying in an old manor, surrounded by vintage furniture, paintings, having possibility to use cigar room, listen to one of the vinyls on good hifi system and to use pool table was really impressive. Highly recommended!

No sound isolation. There was a big noise from games room table game and the table tennis, some people were playing even after 22:00. I suggest to move those games to another building so that guests could rest without noise. Breakfast table was almost empty when we came around 10:00.

The property is awesome - collections of furniture, painings and dished from whole Europe. my husband had a birthday - he got a very tasty chokolate lava cake. Very nice staff.

Nothing - everything is great.

Simply a unique place - everything is wonderful: extremely clean rooms, neat common spaces, halls that you can use freely (!) - to be an active participant in the history of the manor (probably, it would be difficult to find such a place anywhere else). Amazing and friendly staff (you feel like at home), high quality cuisine, very beautiful geographical area, lots to do around. We had a great weekend, despite bad weather, and will definitely be back in the summer 🥰

The only slight negative is that the beds being period artefacts are quite small. However, its a small price to pay and only guarantees the genuine experience!

Staying at the Burbiskio Manor House is a marvelous experience. The owner has filled the property with interesting period artefacts so you really get to feel what it might have been like to live in such a property during the 1850s. The fact that you are encouraged to "treat the place like home" adds to the ambiance. The staff were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to enjoy my stay.

The nighs were quite cold during the night and so the room.

We were had one night there during the winter so only several of rooms were booked. And we had a chance to take a look at all the other rooms on the first floor. Which were quite impressive. Breakfast was good.

Room, though spacious was somewhat stuffy, though they provide an electric fan. The biggest problem was dinner: I arrived Sunday, late afternoon, the restaurant was open only until 5 p.m., same working hours were in the local food store, so, for the dinner I had to go with tea and some bisquits I had. If you book there, check the hours of the restaurant and bring some snack if necessary - there are no other eateries around.

The manor is indeed very historical with numerous antiques which are almost frightening – one has to pass a room with lots of china and other artefacts to reach your room or go to the restaurant. When you have a booking, you are also entitled to free roaming through the historical rooms and through the park. Room itself is also recreated with antique (or close to antique) furniture, however with all modern trappings. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom is spacious and very clean, there are tea/coffee making appliances in the room. Breakfast is fine, nothing exceptional.

It's an amazing experience to be near history. The interior seems very cozy despite of the antiques, without the feeling of the museum, but friends' home. I liked all the stuff: from staff to food. Special "Labas!" to Jakas🙂
