How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Missing a hairdryer, iron and it was cold in the room without enough warm bedsheets.
Perfect location, super clean, well explained, great price. Have towels, soaps in the bathrooms, etc

I loved the location- close to everywhere you need. There are 10 rooms, 2 bathrooms/toilets + 1 toilet. So keep that in mind. Open small kitchen in the hall. The lady that works there was so cute, she brought us a heater because it was cold in May, even tho heating season was over in Lithuania. So big bug thank you for that:)

There is nothing bad to say. You just keep in mind that as always you get for what you pay. You will not have bathroom or WC in your room. The property has many rooms for living, so on busy days expect to be living with more people next to your rooms. Other than that, property is clean, safe stay, cosy rooms & calm sleep. Since it is downtown, you can expect noisy street apartments, but closed windows shuts the sound down.
Exceptionally perfect location to reach all main point of interest within walking distance. Bars, old town within minutes to visit. Since it was a business trip, location was a key pick for night stays.

The accommodation was great! The place was clean, everything felt fresh and tidy. There were essential hygiene supplies and towels. I could talk about the location for hours! Everything was nearby. Except it was a little cold this time of the year, but besides that the place was astonishing.

The cleaning lady. It might be a lost in translation kind of thing, but she would make faces and strange sounds.
Everything was excellent, except for the cleaning lady. She was a bit rude. I just ignored her. Apart from that, the hotel is super well located. Room is nice and cozy. Bathrooms are clean. Internet is fast.

Our room window was with view on street: little bit loudly outside.
Nice location, clean room, fresh sheet clothes. Small kitchen - so nice. In bathroom you can find all what you need. Personal great 👍 I’ll recommend this place for everyone.

While the central location of the property is convenient, it may not be the ideal choice for light sleepers due to high traffic.
Exceptional value for budget travelers! This place offers a step up from traditional hostels with added privacy. The absence of key handovers was a game-changer, giving me a liberating sense of freedom. The well-equipped kitchen nook was a delightful bonus. Highly recommended for a hassle-free and comfortable stay.

Ventilation in property is nonexistent, so bathrooms smell bad and in room you need to keep window open frequently, even in winter Kitchen is tiny- good enough for making coffee and microwave meal.

Bathrooms don’t have ventilation so it gets a bit wet after use.
Ideal location, nice clean room, clean bathrooms. There’s a small kitchen corner with coffee/tea, a fridge, and a microwave.
