Good location just off the beach, so you can hear the waves from the room. The room was basic but had everything we needed. Would recommend for budget travellers looking for something close to the beach like us!

The place has potential. It can easily be turned into a great place with a few changes. 1. You need to add another lock to the door (the existing lock can be opened easily by pushing the door). 2. There is good internet reception in the restaurant, all that is missing is to add a range extender so that the internet can be used in the rooms. The topic of the Internet is super important. 3. Renovate the shower, the shower head is fixed at a horrible angle which makes it very difficult to shower.

The hotel is located on an amazing beach. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and happy to help with any request. highly recommend

Basic room but enough for lonely traveler. Forget the ocean view from the room, go directly to the beach. The staffs are nice.

rooms a bit dark

great location and supernice stuff. superfood value for money (ac room) and awesome local food (super fair price, not like other places closer to city). u can even see monkeys in the afternoon passing the place for the tree fruits. swimming not possible like at 80% of this beach due to currents, but overall the area is a paradise. close to some other more expensive Ressorts.

The staff forgot the breackfast request so we delay our checkout/trip 30min. Toilet not very confortable with shower too close to WC.

It is by the sea, literaly in the sand front. Friendly staff and good food. They arrange a tuktuk for us upon request and have exchange currency with real time exchange rates.

Room was a bit more rustic than anticipated, WiFi was weak in the cabana.

I must say its peculiar accommodation, wooden cabin, with windows not fitted properly, big gaps between frame and glass, also gaps in walls 😄 so would be interesting in winter... Bathroom is with concrete floor in shower and you have a feeling it might separate from the room when you move a bit harder or faster 😄 I had to ask for toilet paper and soap and later on even for blanket for night as there were none of these things. But honestly, we liked it very much. All these things were small details and the room was so different from everything else we have stayed at while in Sri Lanka.

Location is right on the beach. The accommodation has a restaurant, we had breakfast included and dinner we had was absolutely awesome and for great price (definitely order sea food platter for 2!). We had upstairs room, so view on the sea and beach was nice. Wifi worked. I guess we were lucky because we didn't have problem with noise (apart from sea, it was REALLY loud! 😄) Happy.

The door's lock is weak, it will not stop the person with bad intentions. Breakfasts were available just from 8.30 AM - definitely too late if you get up for morning swimming.

The main value is location - just on the marvelous Tangalle beach. The room was OK, almost with the sea view, breakfasts and other meals in the restaurant were fresh and tasty. A/C worked well, as well as the boiler.

2 things I didn't like - we paid for a sea view but didn't get one (well, it was a side sea view but you had to peer through the bushes to get a glimpse of wave!) and the window panes in the toilet/shower were quite low and clear glass so anyone could look in - we hung a sarong up for privacy!

It was right on the beach on the quieter side of Tangalla. The food was very tasty there and the restaurant was fairly busy. The staff were friendly.

Location right on the beach so beautiful views at meal times from the beach restaurant. Owners were super lovely and helpful and arranged activities for us. Local food was home cooked and delicious and great value for money. Room had aircon. Could do with maybe some mesh screens on the bathroom windows as quite a few bugs and lizards could get in, but that’s to be expected in Sri lanka.

It was a little noisier than I would have liked due to loud music from a neighbouring establishment however this stops around midnight.

The walls and floor were not sealed ants and insects came in. Only a fan in the room, they are very small and held the heat. You couldn’t not open the windows as monkeys were present and squirrel’s. The front windows were sealed shut. It’s was terribly hot! Facilities on the beach were dirty and run down. The worse part I think the sewage pipe ran under our room every time someone pressed the button (not in our room) you could smell it in our room!!!!

The staff were great especially the new guy that only started two weeks ago.

My room didn’t have curtains.

Very kind and helpful staff, good food. The rooms are by the beach where I was told you can go snorkeling (when you’re not off season like I was). The hotel organizes lots of tours including one where you can see turtles. Very reasonably priced too.
