It was the little things that made the stay perfect. As we arrived in reception I think it was the owner heard people, stuck his head in to say hello. After the walk up the hill there was a refresher towel at the desk. On the first night I had been too warm and had taken out the duvet... rather than just leaving it the maid found me a lighter duvet. The staff at breakfast were very attentive, coffee and eggs exactly as you like them, and a buffet with the best local food (Liechtenstein meats, cheese, honey, yoghurt). The room was spotlessly clean, and had proper black out curtains for an excellent night's sleep. Like the property the spa was small, but very tasteful, with a nice range of herbal teas and snacks. We arrived on the bus, and it is a 10 minute walk up a steep hill, but for the view and fresh air it is worth it.

The hotel looks and feels like home; it is beautifully decorated, very clean, with spectacular views on the mountains, there is so much peace and silence that it makes it perfect as a hideaway. The food in the restaurant was simply unbeatable; delicious :) Congratulations to the chef; we love you for pampering us with such tasty dishes. The swimming pool and the sauna - gorgeous. I cannot imagine a better place to relax. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back. There is a spacious parking space next to the hotel. And there are electric bicycles that can be rented at the hotel. Many paths in the mountains for hiking. This hotel is a paradise :)

A slightly larger spa area, with the addition of a jacuzzi and steam room, would make the hotel even better.

The hotel provides stunning views of the snow-capped mountains. The suites on the ground floor are very comfortable, with a large outdoor seating area and easy access to the garden. The restaurant is exceptional, providing a variety of dishes of the highest quality. All the staff were both friendly and professional. The swimming pool is of a good size for such a small hotel.

We didn’t realise there were blinds to make the rooms darker

Everything was just perfect. The staff all spoke dual language and were very friendly, smiling and welcoming. The views are stunning and the gardens and amenities superb. The highlight has to be the food , it is exceptional The Pool and sauna were very relaxing and the tv had English channels !!

Beautiful hotel, comfortable and luxurious in every respect, excellent cuisine. Feels more like a 5 star hotel even though they modestly describe themselves as 4 stars. Super friendly and professional staff.

Spa was limited to small sauna and the water temperature at swimming pool was a little cold. There are limited comfortable amount of places in the swimming pool area, so we were not able to stay there, as the places were always occupied. To reach the hotel, if you don’t have a car, it is not so easy no reach by public transport. The streets are having a considerable slop and if you carry luggage and have some mobility problems, really a challenge.

Hotel personnel were really nice and helpful. Room had an amazing view and terrace, that together with the fireplace, was making the experience remarkable. We received information to know that bus transport is for free if you stay in Vaduz for several days…it was really useful for enjoying going around and visiting Feldkirch, Sagans and all the surroundings.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel Sonnehof in Vaduz. This is indeed a very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant and very pleasant room. Our terrace had views of the Prince’s Castle and the valley in which Vaduz is located as well as several mountain peaks. The location puts it above Vaduz but with the pedestrian center within an easy walk. There is also a beautiful hiking trail that starts just above the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful, including arranging taxi service to and from the hotel. We highly recommend the Park Hotel Sonnenhof to those visiting Vaduz.

The Park Hotel Sonnenhof is a treasure. Every detail is managed to perfection. The staff is friendly beyond expectations. The rooms are spacious and have an amazing view. A huge plus is the personal touch in a warm and friendly greeting by the owner, Madame Real.
