Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Lebanonnothing, its disgusting
this is the most nastiest hotel I went to in my life, I don't recommend anyone to go this hotel, very extra dirty, no toilet cover, water always leaking in the toilet, no towels, no bed covers, dirty sheets, even the kitchen is all rusty, saloon furniture all filled with dirt , even the pool water was dirty, and also the workers that work there, you can not even look at them because they are dirty and stinky. I couldn't stay there I directly took my stuff and left the property even didn't ask for refund, and the hotel is too much overpriced, 200$ for this room, I would not pay 1 dollar for this property,

AustraliaThe first thing you need to do is clean the place properly. In addition to being disgusting, the sofas reeked of foul odors. We didn't have a gas bottle for cooking and the fridge didn't work until the next day. The towels are so small that you can only use them to wash your face. There were four bathrooms. However, most of them were not clean, the water was weird when you flushed the toilet, the shower head leaked water, causing the bathroom floors to always be wet. The shower did not have a water stopper, so every time you took a shower it made the whole bathroom wet. There is a lack of respect and rudeness from the owners. He offered me my money back when I complained. As a result, the problem is that you advertise your place as a four and a half star stay while you are only a star. As we planned to stay there for two nights, we were unable to find another place to stay, otherwise we would have left. For 400 dollars a night, the least you can do is provide your guests with proper hygiene. Pillows and mattresses may have sweat stinging them, or they may be rotten. The owner of the place, Mr. Khalil, is disrespectful. The first rule for starting a business is to treat your customers with respect and understanding. If your guests stay with you, they will have a nasty stay with serious hygiene problems.
the place is horrible

United Arab EmiratesCame to enjoy a one night stay with my family, I had to mop the bathrooms floors bcoz there’s no curtains or bac a douche, waiting for 15 min in the toilet for the hot water to reach, no extra blankets, biggest door that takes us to the pool couldn’t be locked, although they said they’ll fix it and they didn’t so we had to call someone at night to fix it so we can sleep. They didn’t even made an effort to open a small pass in the snow! We had to pull our luggages and holding our kids hands, struggling to reach to our bungalow!!! Bedroom door handle fell on the floor like more than 4 times. We almost had a gas explosion trying to turn on the heat and make our coffee. Super dirty sofas I STILL HAVE NO IDEA FOR WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING 200$/night! Shame on you!!!

United Arab Emiratesno restaurant or breakfast service in the facility. the towels and bed sheets are due for a complete replacement with new ones in the whole hotel (very used). the cleaning services need a little more supervision. the utensils need to be renewed.
the location on the main road that leads to the neighboring ski stations is good. The staff were empathetic and helpful anytime they were asked and made the hotel feel cozy, family like house with a warm villager-like behavior. The rooms and chalets’ interior design with a chimney and rustic wood adds to the warmth of the facility and makes it ideal for winter getaways.

Highly recommended!! Very cozy hotel with a beatiful room view for the amazing mountain of Faraya. The room is clean & equipped with everything you need for your accommodation, the staff are very helpful & friendly they even let us check in earlier than the check in time. They just need to add some new kitchen utensils in the room and it will be perfect. Will definitely stay there when I travel again to Lebanon!

LebanonEverything should be enhance. It was a shame. The apartment was dirty, in work, we were next to the plant room so it was noisiy. We were literally hearing every single word pronounced. It smelt bad, we had to live in emergency because my mom started to get sick because of the smell (we were scared to get intoxicated with carbon monoxid). The rooms were expensive for something that don't deserve any client. The establishment was maybe a great place before the crisis but now it's awful. If you're searching for a place and you ar ewondering to come there, run away.
nothing.
