The location is amazing, right on the slope. Renting ski shoes from the same building is convenient. The rooms are very well heated. The staff is so friendly; they make a fire in the fireplace every night with a box of wood and deliver shisha to the room too. 😊

There isn't much we disliked. I would recommend a discount on the rental gear if you stay at the hotel and perhaps a service whereby the hotel purchases the lift tickets on your behalf, but that's extra. The kitchen is bare - only a few plates, glasses, and mugs. There are no knives, cutting boards, or much cooking equipment, but you can borrow any of that from the common room kitchen.

The location of L'escale du Mzaar is perfect: park your car, get your gear at their rental place, stay overnight, then walk over to the slopes the next day. We didn't have to move our cars until we left, which is an important perk when you go skiing at Mzaar resort. Saturday morning, we were almost first on the slopes thanks to the proximity of the hotel to the lift ticket cashier. The 2-bedroom apartment was bigger and nicer than it looked on the photos, the temperature was excellent, and the beds comfortable enough. I think the most surprising is how well the space is insulated to other rooms' noise: we did not hear anyone else from their own units while in our room. Georges was also an incredibly kind and dedicated host who gets it done - bags to your unit, cars parked out of the way, breakfast in your unit, etc. We highly recommend this hotel.

We loved every minute of our stay with L'escale Du Mzaar. The arrival was easy. The communication beforehand was smooth. The staff during the whole time was supper friendly and everything was super great... we come again :)

The location is perfect for skiing the view from room.is right on the slopes... the staff are so friendly, warm and helpful. They do little gests to make us happy ... They suggest places and provide transportation amd all suggestions are spot on....My friends, my kids and I were overwhelmed by the amazkng hospitality.. we would surely come back... their ski rental place are also very effiicient and helpful.... Thank you l'escale du mzaar for making the trip exceptional.

master bed was a bit noisy

fireplace in the living room and very good working heating system. The manager was tremendously friendly, helpful and speaks very good English. The Syrian staff was as well very friendly and very, very helpful. As we traveled in winter with the expectation of skiing on the nearby slopes, we found that due to lack of snow the slopes were not in operation. Thanks to the highly cooperative Manager we quickly managed to find a solution to cope with the misfortune of the weather conditions.
