Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicI just had to wait for my room little bit longer than usually which was not so nice as I was after long overnight trip and I'm a frequent customer of this hotel but it's ok and I can understand that if the hotel was full. I received as an exchange room upgrade, free juice and fruits so that's good as as apology and thank you for that. Than I spend I think very nice money in hotel restaurants over that couple days and on the end they changed me stupid 1100 KZT for snickers bar from the fridge. Also in the Irish Pub we had 2 nonalcoholic mojitos on the end but waiter charged us as for alcoholic one. Management suppose to thing about stupidities like this. It's really not nice to your customers and especially the frequent ones.
Swimming pool and sauna was great. Massage perfect to sooth my backache.

Staff here are incredible! Aibol at breakfast, Tleggan at the Irish Bar, Igor and the reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly people. The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby, the spa facilities, the restaurants, it's all top class. You will rarely stay at a more beautiful hotel with such great service. We requested a quiet room and our room was silent at night with an extremely comfortable bed. Cleanliness was 110% perfect. Location is great too, a 10 minute walk to the boulevard with Baiterek and other sights.

United StatesTwo points: i understand the hotel is not new, and though very tidy, the interior shows its age a bit. There are no USB plugs to charge your gadgets in the room, so international travelers should carry their own converters. Not a buggy, but when my phone ran out of battery on arrival in the middle of the night, it was inconvenient. However, when I asked at the reception in the morning, they offered a local plug. One minor thing, I found a clump of long hair in the shower and a few strands in the bathtub. It is something small, but kind of unpleasant, and so easily avoidable, given the cost of stay and the 5 star grade of the hotel.
Interior of the hotel is very spacious and cozy with lots of vegetation and cozy couches. The temperature control in the room was perfect, quiet. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Fridge had the essentials, except for red wine. Service was quick and exceptionally professional. I was staying with my 3 year old son and the hotel had amazing facilities for children-large indoor playroom with a babysitter service and a great outdoor playground near the outdoor restaurant with nice slides, swings and sand box with lots of toys. It was just excellent! And I wouldn’t think of any other hotel to stay when I’m traveling with a kid.

United Arab Emirates- The restaurant was closed for dinner due to COVID rules but in the morning guests were allowed to have breakfast together in the same restaurant that had to be closed at night. These rules do not make any sense. - The walls seem to be quite thin since we could hear others guests in the room adjacent to ours. They were playing music and talking loudly. Luckily they were only noisy during the afternoon so we did not make any complaint. - The vegetables pizza we ordered through the room service was not great. It was salty, dry and barely had any vegetables in it.
The spa area is really nice. The massage, which was paid extra, was really relaxing. The staff is quite attentive. The breakfast was great and quite diverse. The wifi was fast and thus it allowed us to watch Netflix effortlessly. It is located in a nice area in town. The complimentary late check-out was great too! Room service was efficient and relatively quick.

United StatesI'm Staying at Rixos on every occasion when I'm in Astana, never had a problem with the room. This time it was hot, it felt like sauna for the whole time. The technician came and he simply said there is nothing he can do about it. 🙄 Mini fridge wasn't working, the drinks were so warm it was impossible to drink. It's unacceptable, especially with the prices that they have for the mini bar drinks(and everything in general) I get it, it's Rixos but 5000tg for the 50ml of warm absolute vodka…ummm no, thank you)
It is a good property in a good location. The room has everything you need(if it's in working condition) The staff is normally very nice.
