Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOnly thing missing was a swim up bar by the pool. Hot tub was not hot during our stay.
Beach was great and very well maintained. View was phenomenal! Staff was awesome! Room had a couple minor cleanliness issues such as something dripping on the wall by the tv and stuff under the dresser from previous occupants.

United StatesThey make you go to the concierge desk for towels...and they try tom pitch time shares...but when we declined they left us alone for the week.
Great location in the quiet east end of Grand Cayman. Right on the water...just walk out to an uncrowded beach. About 5 restaurants within 15 minute drive, and 3 you can walk to. Definitely need a car if you want to get around to see other places.

United StatesRestaurant pricing is a bit high for breakfast and dinner, however it is the norm for Cayman in general.
The restaurant was a nice surprise. For both breakfast and dinner, food quality is very good. The beach and room view are amazing.

United StatesMore activities, would love if premium all-inclusive would include wait staff to bring you drinks poolside and on the beach. Only one beach bar to order from and sometimes there was a wait.
Loved this trip. As far as all inclusives go, this one is much more laid back. There were fun activities (although wish there were more in the evening) and food and drinks were excellent. Would have been nice to get more interaction and direction from the water sports facility. We saw kayaks on the beach but never saw anyone kayaking or doing anything other than snorkeling, that would have been nice to do.

United StatesThe East End is windy which can make the ocean murky. The beach is lovely, but the swimming here is not great. You are, however, just 25 minutes from the calm waters at Rum Point. Also, the East end doesn't have a lot of good restaurants like you find at Seven Mile Beach. It does, however, offer peace and quiet.
Check in was easy. The beachfront villa was larger than I expected and much cleaner than anticipated. In fact, the tile floors were so clean I could walk barefoot on them and the bottoms of my feet stayed clean! The bedroom is large with lots of dresser and closet space and a super comfy king bed. VERY QUIET at night. The kitchen was clean, well-furnished, and had a nice big new refrigerator with ice maker. We loved sitting on our little balcony at night listening to the ocean surf which rolled in on the beach just steps from our building. I mean, the ocean is only about 12 yards from the room. Also, the pools are kept clean and the beaches are cleaned every morning. The Wednesday night seafood buffet was delicious and worth the rather steep price. This is not a place to come to for excitement and fun. It's a quiet place to come and get refreshed. Also, it's within walking distance of a small grocery store and nice Italian restaurant.

United StatesVery outdated rooms. Came because we thought there was an all inclusive option (had to be staying longer than 4 nights to get the all inclusive).
We liked that they offered spa services and that we could book scuba trips right from the property. The happy hour was a nice perk.

United StatesThe ocean wasn't particularly swimmable; turtle grass and sargassum issues, and beyond that where the water did become a little clearer the current was quite strong. Obviously this isn't the property's fault! We thought the water would be more accessible, but the pool provided the cool down relief we needed. The bar drinks were so-so, and the hefty service and hotel fees that are added to everything certainly add to the overall price. We brought drinks with us and purchased mixers, snacks and fresh fruit at Foster's grocery store.
Our room was upgraded - appreciated effort because booking.com was very difficult to work with on price matching. Check in easy and friendly staff. Quiet location, which we knew and were looking for. Very out of the way from busier spots on the island. Room was clean and adequately appointed; not very modern but that didn't bother us. We had the amenities were were looking for. Adequate shade on the beach. We didn't make use of the restaurant as we chose to dine at local places for dinner instead.

United StatesOur room was located at the corner/end of the building. These are the only rooms without a gate/fence around the patio. Several people walked through our porch to get to the beach. Bed was very dated and uncomfortable. Dishware could be updated. Ice machine was empty for several days of our stay...
Beautiful facility - loved being on the East side. Staff wonderful! Very clean.... Would definitely stay again!
