It's not the hotels fault but a lot of plastic gets washed up on this beach. The sea is beautiful but you have to step through a layer of floating debris.

We had a wonderful time at the Resort. The staff was very lovely and the service was outstanding. The beach at the resort is beautiful. Our bungalow was also very nice.

More of a feedback on the clean up on the beach. There’s rubbish come in from the sea 2-3 times a day (property has no control over), they do clean up what’s washes up onto the sand. But it would be better to clean up the rubbish at the water edge (surf) with some sort of scooper line the one you use to scoop leaves out of swimming pool. Even with the floating rubbish coming in the water is clear and clean. It’s just that all the tourists like me picking up rubbish floating in the water every time you go in. Morning and late afternoon are free of rubbish in the sea though.

It was one of the best and peaceful hotels we’ve been in Cambodia. You can actually feel the hospitality and care of the staffs especially from Nicholas and Anna. The service, the food, and the cleanliness is quite exceptional. One of the cleanest hotels in Koh Rong.

Not much really, the beach is a bit small, but really it doesn't matter once you're in that gorgeous turquoise-blue sea... it's just so beautiful

The staff is absolutely amazing, the bar/restaurant has THE BEST music on the island, really cool vibes and just amazing cocktails. Great breakfast. This is just such a chill and classy place and the staff went out of their way to help us and make us happy, they were really sweet. Love this place, I would definitely come back... Highly recommend!

I loved staying here. I loved that it was away from the main town where the boats takes you from the mainland. It was peaceful and relaxing. The staff is amazing and helpful ! Would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Koh Rong !

The room was fairly small, we booked the family suite and it was a standard-sized hotel room with two queen sized beds within the same room, but overall a great value for the price we paid. Also the beds were very close to the floor, which could be problematic for some. The wifi worked on the first day, but after that didn't seem to reach all the way back to where our room was. There was no cell service in our room either, so we needed to leave the room to send a text message. But overall very minor things, just things to be aware of!

Everything at the White Sand Ark resort was excellent! Located right on Sok San beach, it was a quick (~30 minute and $12) tuk-tuk from the ferry pier. The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival and was able to store our bags until the room was ready for check-in while we spent some time on the lounge chairs on the beach. Our room was very clean and had a refrigerator, but the patio table and chairs were nice for early mornings and late nights. The beds were very comfortable and the room was fairly quiet, aside from a few roosters in the morning. The breakfast buffet was delicious and was served daily with both western and Asian options. The hotel restaurant was open for both lunch and dinner, but there were a few other restaurant options in the nearby quaint little "downtown" area. There were nearby convenience stores and we even had our laundry done while we were there at a nearby stand. The staff kept the beach and the hotel area spotless, cleaning up multiple times per day. Beach towels, paddle boards and scuba masks and snorkels were available at the hotel as well. Anna was incredibly helpful, and she even coordinated our ferry return and the tuk-tuk pickup to bring us back to the pier. You should definitely consider staying here if you are in Koh Rong, I know that we will be back!

Not major issues but would've liked better soundproofing in the upstairs rooms, and longer curtains for the room doors to give more privacy as they're glass.

Had the most relaxing few days staying at White Sand Ark. It's on a gorgeous bit of beach, close to restaurants and facilities but so much less crowded than other parts of the island and the beach was spotlessly clean. The rooms were also very clean and the Japanese-style beds really comfortable. The staff are all so lovely and super helpful. And the breakfast and Happy Hour cocktails were great. Highly recommend this place!

A great little quirky hotel. Japanese style with Russian hosts. The rooms are Japanese style with the low beds which might be a bit tricky for some. If you book a sea view be mindful that there is a very steep and old iron spiral stair case to your room so again this could be tricky for someone with a mobility issue. Breakfast is very good as are the lunch and dinner menus. The night BBQ was a little hit and miss for us on a couple of nights the fish and duck was very overcooked. There are other options to eat around the hotel if you need some variety. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The beach is on the doorstep and kept very clean and tidy, lovely comfortable sun beds. Paddle boards and snorkel’s also available to use for free. The location is good about 15 mins tuk tuk from the main koh toch harbour. Quiet at night too.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful. They offered us the breakfast the moment we entered the hotel as it was 10 AM. And they provide an online personalized map of the island with all the interesting spots. Two sup paddle available for free, the room was clean. I fully recommend this hotel.

The room was lovely and clean. Location perfect. Island life starts early but you are able to lie in if you choose. So close to the beach with crystal clear water. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Other meals at the hotel really good especially the BBQ. Service from the staff fantastic. Very helpful. Sand constantly being swept away and raked over to keep things clean. Was able to get dropped off/picked up at Sok San pier with GTVC. Just ask them when boarding, a small extra charge. Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday extra special. Didn't want to leave. Hope we can come back again.
