We honestly cannot say enough superlatives about this property. From the time I booked it to the time we were waved off by all of the staff at the door Waka Villas utterly deserves 5 * in every aspect. We completed a 16 day adventure in Vietnam and Cambodia with our last 2 nights being spent at Waka. We did 5* the whole trip as we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we really did save the best for last. Every tiny detail has been so beautifully thought out. The layout of our stunning villa, the completely secluded and private pool and garden area, complimentary drinks, amazing breakfast, reasonable room service prices with gorgeous food- the list is too long to name about all of the great things at Waka. The icing on the cake has to be the service. It is impeccable. Every single member of staff are just lovely. Special shout out to Phalla and Rathana who helped me every step of the way with questions and organisation. We will never forget our stay at WAKA. Thank you all. You’d be mad not to book it.

The entire complex is a destination - an experience and to fully appreciate the site we recommend no less than three nights stay. Every day we stumbled across something remarkable on site. The staff are excellent, so helpful and friendly. The on site manager, personally greeted us, is so humbly, works on the first floor which allows him to interact with those that stay on site.

We personally prefer breakfast that is very clean (=few natural ingredients). First off all: In Waka resort, the breakfast is 100% fresh & for sure in a way prepared that would most of guests love (e.g. waffles decorated with fruit sauce, mixed bread basket incl croissants & rolls). For us, we would be more happy if we could customise the breakfast to a higher extend: e.g. what kind of rolls we would like, which kind of spread, etc Besides, we would love if you could extend the range of spreads. There was orange jam but you could add easily other (like raspberry) as well as honey. And also oat porridge (not salty) would be wonderful. For lunch, we would have also preferred more natural choices, e.g. fresh tomato sauce instead of cream sauce.

The level of service the Waka resort provided, was just exceptional: They were always pro-active, lovely, and really eased our stay in Siem Reap by inspiring with restaurant recommendations & reservations. They constantly took the extra mile! The leadership in this place is driven by hospitality, openness & employee (as well as consumer) satisfaction. The villas are very intimate and at the same time you do not feel trapped as there is a lot of glass & plants. The pool has the perfect size for taking a dip. We felt very comfortable & it was as clean as in your own house.

Waka villas made our stay in Siam Reap very special. The villas with the private pool are beautifully designed and spacious. The pool is good for two to swim and we used it a lot. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and it was really sad to say good-bye to them in the end. We also had the best massages ever and recommend very much the khmer massage. The food was delicious, the special feature that you can have breakfast until 5 pm, in the restaurant or in your villa, is super. In case you do the sunrise trip to the temple, you can have it when you come back. If you ask for spicy, it is really spicy (mango salad), otherwise, not. We did several trips to Angkor Wat and further away temple to the lake tonle sap. The staff organised that very well, thank you. We also recommend the acrobats circus, the traditional dance theater, and especially visiting the retired temple elefants in "Kulen Elephant Forest" which need the visitors fee for continuing being a safe haven for retired Touristelephants. We would love to come back to Waka villas one day and send our greeting to the staff with a big THANK YOU 🙏!

The price is high, but you get the best.

Very spacious layout of the Villa, perfect design. High quality furniture all made locally in Cambodia. Wonderful energy in the property and the silence allover (even the aircon was perfect and no noise). Phalla and her team take care of all one needs with so much heartfelt dedication and lovely smile, nothing is too much. Excellent massage. Great food served in the Villa. Free laundry. Japanese owner with Cambodia Management - you can feel the attention to every detail. Plan for 3 to 4 days, as one day you just want to stay… Seeing a few boutique 4 and 5 star hotels in Sieam Reap, Waka is the choice. To city only 10 minutes drive.

I would have liked it if the pool chairs had been wiped down. There was quite a bit of debris just from being outside. Maybe something to note for the future :)

Nothing could have been better !

What I liked most was the hotel team, well managed by Seam, which measured no efforts to ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction. The facilities were quite new, beautifully decorated and modern features. The room´s individual large pool and the lavish breakfast were two additional highlights. Would like to leave a special acknowledgement to Seam and his team due to great stay experience !

I cannot speak highly enough of Waka Villas. We just spent a wonderful 8 nights in one of the private villas with own swimming pool. Virtually brand new, convenient location, beautifully presented, enormous comfortable beds, scrupulously clean, attention to detail - everything has been thought of. Scrumptious breakfast (any time of the day) delivered by smiling staff to our room. The service from Kim, Seam and the staff was amazing and they just couldn’t do enough for us - whether getting us a tuk tuk to go into town, delivering extra tea bags to the room or organising an excursion. Best place ever!

Having to leave! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is beyond beautiful, it was everything we dreamt off and so much more. The villas are stunning, so thoughtfully laid out. Breakfast all day is so amazing. The restaurant is great, the spa is excellent and best of all, the staff are incredible. Special mention to Seam and Mr Sreng who made our trip so unbelievably special. Seam was amazing, from our greeting at the airport right to saying goodbye, he was so friendly and helpful. We felt like VIPs. Seam organised a 2 day tour for us to visit the temples. Mr Sreng drove us and was an incredible tour guide. We loved our time with Mr Sreng. We spent our honeymoon at Waka and wished we'd stayed for 2 more weeks, it was out of this world. We will be back ♥

This is absolutely the very best hotel in Cambodia and one of our favorite hotels in the whole world. Every person that works in this resort is just fenomenal, most welcoming in the world, it is the most wonderful Family that will make your stay pure magic. We came for 1 night and stayed 8, it was so good. The lush green landscaping makes you feel like you are in the most beautiful tropical jungle resort. The villas are absolutely fantastic in every detail, everything is new, super comfortable and flawless clean. The best housekeeping makes the most beautiful flower arrangements you can think of. The service is just the best of the best. The breakfast is all day long, the food is to die for plus delicious passion fruit juice, plus sweet fresh coconuts all day long, plus fragrant flower leis that will melt your heart, plus wonderful spa treatments, plus free laundry, free city trips, smooth organization of anything you may need and so on. I wish everyone such magical stays like we had here. Great management focused on guests satisfaction. Nothing. it was great exactly as is.

The location was unremarkable from the outside but once passing through the entry you are transported to a luxurious oasis. The villas are gorgeous and spacious and the pool for our unit was spotless and rejeuvenating. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our airline lost our luggage and the staff assisted in tracking it down and helping us find replacement clothing so that our vacation was not interrupted. The food on site was excellent and we thought our pad thai dinner there was one of the best meals we had in Asia. You will read this and think it sounds too good to be true but it isn't; it really was a fantastic place. If you are thinking about staying there, you should do so. It is worth it.

Most formidable resort, with scrupulous attention to detail, spacious and nicely decorated villas, clean and well maintained pools, luxury amenities, complimentary minibar refreshments, comfortable beds, linens and towels, clean water dispensers, free local sim cards, splendid massages, and great breakfast menu offered until... you'll be surprised... 5 p.m, with an option of free delivery straight to the villa. The list can be endless, but the bottom line is, that our experience in this hotel stands out from many other 5 star resorts around the world, which we were lucky to experience. One very notable aspect of service was the flexibility of communication ways with the hotel. Apart from classic internal phones present in every hotel, Waka Villa also offers communication via Whatsapp and Telegram with fast response timings and which proved to be very convenient. The feature that stood out the most to us is their hospitality. They make you feel special from the very first moment you arrived. Unforgettable stay. Bravo, Waka Villa Resort team!
