Our only minor criticism was that the pool water was extremely hot, like a bath, so wasn’t as refreshing when you took a dip. But then when the weather’s over 40c, it’s probably not surprising!

My wife and I spent 3 nights (b&b) at Viroth’s during a short trip to Siem Reap. We were treated like royalty the minute we arrived right through to our departure. We were greeted with cold towels in reception when we first arrived in our taxi and our room was decorated with flowers on the bed as we were celebrating our anniversary. There was also a special cake provided for us which was lovely. The hotel is incredibly clean and no request is too big for the in-house team to deal with. Breakfast is a great experience with plenty of choice and excellent quality Al a carte dishes. We couldn’t see eggs Benedict on the menu (my wife’s favourite) and they were happy to cook it to order. The pool is reasonably sized and drinks by the pool weren’t too pricey. Overall, it was a very memorable stay and we’d definitely return here if we came back to Siem Reap. Can’t recommend it enough - 6/5!!!

Lovely hotel, great room that was cleaned regularly when you were out. The pool was really nice, and the breakfast was good with plenty of vegetarian options. The best part of our stay was the staff, who went out of their way to answer any of our questions and help us, and were super attentive. Thanks for making it a great stay :).

I can't think of anything to dislike.

I am a returning customer and I had zero doubts if I should book again. This hotel is an oasis of tranquility with superb service and excellent food. I can recommend for everyone who is not looking for generic flashy opulence and knows how to value good design of the house, dedication of staff and all the fact that all this effort and skill comes from the local community and fruits of success are shared with the community.

Brilliantly designed hotel that is so functional. The old world modernist ideal of furnishings being custom made so complimentary to the building design. It’s not retro what so ever. The staff I cant speak more highly of.

When you want to relax in comfort this is the hotel for you. From the greeting at the front door with cold towels, the receptionists who knew our names, to the staff who were always smiling as they went about their work nothing could have been done better. The pool, and its facilities, were excellent and not overcrowded despite the hot climate. The hotel also organised the excellent tour guide and driver for our Temple tours prior to our arrival. Viroth's Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.

Wonderful staff who look after you well and will recommend/arrange tours for you. We hired a driver (as we preferred air con as it was so hot) and a fantastic guide Chamrong Kol and would recommend this highly. Step outside the quiet hotel and you’re in the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. We walked around a lot and felt safe. The hotel is pristine. Sunbeds always available with huge parasols (which are needed). The food was delicious. At times during our stay I was dining solo and around the pool/reception. I felt at ease and there were a few others on their own too. This hotel is a must for any type of traveller. We will return and thank you.

Not being able to stay longer!

If I could give this hotel a rating beyond 10, I would. It was exceptional. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. We booked the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat in one of their vintage cars, which was amazing. The breakfast was cooked a la carte each day and was delicious. I will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful hotel with even more special staff. Every single person from valet to front desk had treated us so well. The room itself is decorated nicely, spacious, and comfortable with a small balcony outside. Ac worked great. Breakfast is made to order which was perfect. The pool area is great, plenty of chairs and service. You are also only a short walk to everything in town. They helped set up a tuk tuk driver for Angor Wat. Would highly recommend!

This was a great hotel, so little to comment on, being picky - water in the rooms was in a pre-poured glass bottle, difficult for tourists to understand the source and whether should or shouldn’t drink it, likewise been good to know if salads are washed in filtered water.

The staff were so attentive, they quickly learnt who we were and rembered basic information but it made us feel welcome and they were engaged.
