As it was end of the season, they needed to do some cutting and cleaning of the plants and tree around so it was not really tidied up. But it was not a big deal for us. They even apologised for cutting the tree one day…

It’s super central and Iiked the outside sitting on their 1st floor. They have hot and cold water all the time available (although sometimes we needed to change and to carry it by ourselves). Nice staff!

There wasn’t anywhere to hang things like wet swim suits. And someone stole my free people onesie that I hung in the door to dry. Not the fault of the property! But keep your things safety packed away out of sight not to tempt low life backpackers who can’t buy their own clothes. :(

Upon arrival we were told our room had been reserved for an extra night by the current guest, so we had to stay in a different room, and then move the following day. This was a very minor inconvenience and the room we were moved into, despite being smaller, was generally nicer and cleaner as the first one had a dirty floor, damp smell and a couple of insects in the bathroom. The island is fairly overpriced and this was one of the cheaper options, but still overpriced for the quality, as no toiletries are provided and the bedsheets appeared quite old. There is no laundry on site as the information suggests, but there is a place a few doors down the road which was fine but takes a day and a half to return. Despite these negatives it was still a good stay.

Located just off of Khao Touch beach, but just far away enough to not be too noisy on a night, though you should probably still bring earplugs if visiting during high season. The family and reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is fairly communal with plenty of areas to sit and chat. Free water refills are hard to come by on the island so this was greatly appreciated. The AC works well (when there's power), and the rooms were generally clean.

The fan in the room just wasn’t enough to cool the room down, it held heat a lot more and was warmer than outside. Was hard to sleep. The door had a big gap underneath so we had to stuff bags and rugs under it to stop the mosquitos from coming in. Another problem we had was the amount of sand on everything when we arrived, this isn’t fully their fault as sand gets everywhere but it was hard to feel clean after a shower due to sand being everywhere

The location is great, close to all the main restaurants, bars, tours, cafes and pier.

No lockers in the dorm and plug sockets were in very inconvenient locations meaning you might not be able to charge your phone at night. The room only had fans so it often got very hot. There were mosquitos everywhere in the room (and I got bitten loads) as the windows were often open to try and cool it down. No privacy curtains, the top bunks had no bars and the beds shook quite a lot. The shower was only cold, but I think that's standard for the island. Visitors in the private rooms seemed content though so could be worth paying extra to get out of the dorm.

Lovely staff and great location - almost right on the beach with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Towels were provided and the guesthouse had a very homely feel to it which I appreciated. Free water and coffee was available at all times. Great price though and probably beats all the other hostels you have available on the island.

We had to wait a couple of hours for check in as our room wasn’t ready. Check in was supposed to be at 12 they told us to come back in an hour and we did but it still wasn’t ready then. It also would be great if check out was a little later

Amazing location, just a couple minute walk to the pier, with lots of restaurants around. The staff were really friendly, always made conversation with us. Rooms were good and have what you need for a few nights stay, although it does get super hot in there but they do provide you with a fan!

The dorm rooms have only fans and get hot during the day. There are not enough fans for the beds. The bathroom needs repairs. Overall a decent stay.

Its a budget villa on a not so developed island, there are some flaws but we loved it. We extended our stay a few days :) rented scooter through the villa, no problems. Wi-Fi was good, aircon good and hot water. The elecricity goes out on the island sometimes, pro tip is to have your phone or flashlight in the bathroom cause it gets pitch dark when the lights goes out. Also the staff is great here!

The few stairs to reach the 1st floor rooms require a minimum of fitness:) but I'm just exaggerating.

The "receptionist":) was very helpful about many things and right about suggestions about things to do, and spoke good english. During the power cut they put candles every where, it looked nice. I was very happy with my private room too. The "common area" doesn't really call for socializing but still a good-looking place stay. I recommend without hesitation.
