The hotel is outside of the town centre, so it costs around 2 dollars each way to get a tuk tuk into town (it’s too hot to walk!)

Location on edge of town, so approx 20-30 mins walk to Pub Street. But easy access by tuk tuk.

Towels were old and needed replacing

Staff were really helpful & friendly. Although out of town centre, it is close to sky train station. We travelled into Bangkok on BTS & metro really cheap. Hotel also close to market for shopping. Plenty of cafes, restaurants & street food to choose from. You are also able to book local trips at reception. "Bird", was the young lad booking the trips. He was so helpful & fun. Lovely staff

Unfortunately I had to cancel my stay, however I stopped by to let the hotel know of my change in plans. The staff was super accommodating, friendly and efficient. The property is beautiful. They offered me the use of the showers and pool while I waited for my transportation.

It was a little way out of the centre but that was my fault , but as in .most of Asia the Grab"s were very good value.

The rooms had everything you needed the staff were very pleasant we got on well with the breakfast staff they got us anything we asked for if possible..

There was nothing that caused us any concern. The only complaint was we didn't have enough time or energy to use the pool and spa.

The staff were a delight. From the door men the cleaners the restaurant and reception staff were warm friendly and helpful. The room was easy to get to. It was very well appointed. It gad beautiful sheets and towels. All the Toiletries were of a good quality. Tge breakfast selection was very comprehensive. With well cooked tasty food. The lunch offering in the bar had local and international menu with beers and wine accordingly.

TV noise from room next door . Music from outside . Reception not helpful . Would not agree to a 30 minute late checkout . Therefore had to check out at 4.30 am before sunset tour of Angkor Wat . Told there would be room available to shower and change before flight . This was the communal changing room for the swimming pool !

The WiFi kept dropping out

Loved this hotel. Beautiful inside and out. Our bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to have a bath. The pool and spa were really nice.

The step, having to walk down into the bathroom : a health and safety hazard and the very… very… lousy internet connection, often being literally kicked out when connecting to our corporate VPN!

I have stayed on Tara Angkor seveal times in the past but Covid has taken its toll on this hotel. The lobby restaurant was not open during our stay. Vacated rooms were left open and unattended for several days before being cleaned. There was a mould smell in my room. The breakfast which used to be spectacular has now been adapted to a predrominantly khmer clientele. Beyond omelette there were few western breakfast options available.
