Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAll the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They made our stay very welcome. Ann at front of house was amazing and super helpful with all aspects of our stay. Also assisted with our trips and car requirements. The beach was also superb.

The place is a really oasis of a beauty wilderness combined with a great service from the stuff and a comfortable place to stay. We booked a tent, with a unbelievable sea view, air conditioner and a very comfy bed. Our dinner was exceptional, the stuff are very careful, nice and so helpful with everything. They have the most untouched nature from this area, so the place is a really wonderful. Good job for keeping the place like this.

GermanyWe can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish. It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh. We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here! The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended. The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort! If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

United KingdomTamu and it's neighbouring sister hotel next door, Anaya are quite simply set in paradise. The beach is pure soft golden sand and hosts the most beautful warm clear waters shared with few others. Both properties have varied menus and provide clean outdoor swimming pools. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly - and you can opt to be picked up in their private speedboat from Sihanoukville. I stayed in a Jungle room which was spacious and cool with atmospheric outdoor bathroom facilities. Highly recommended all round.

United KingdomThe tent had either mould or mould marks on it which for the price felt a big oversight. There were some mozzies in the bathroom but the staff managed to reduce them and we didn’t find them too bad. The breakfast was okay but should had been better for the price. And for the price it felt like the transfers to the hotel from longset beach should be included.
The beach was stunning, the tent concept was fun, we loved the outside bathroom and the staff were brilliant. The staff also gave us two free cocktails on my boyfriends birthday which was a really nice touch.

GreeceBreakfast was very poor, with limited options.
The property was very clean, in a nice location, the personnel was second to none, they helped us to arrange a taxi from Phnom Penh, the boat from Sihanoukvile, to rent a motorbike, recommended nice places and they were happy to take care of us at any time, always with a smile. The resort is surrounded by nature and it gives a very unique feeling.

We have such lovely memories from Tamu. It's a beautiful place with the kindest staff - special thanks to Ann and Nin who helped organise anything and everything we needed, from scooters to island transfers; nothing was ever trouble. We enjoyed staying in the very well designed tent - it felt simply idyllic. The hotel tries to be as environment friendly as possible and we felt close to nature which made the experience special. We'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Rong.

CambodiaJungle room: too many mosquitos, same on the transats on the beach Price/quality ratio: was expecting more on the quality of the food and facilities, other hotels on same beach were less expensive with same or higher standard Food is the main improvement point: for breakfast (as we were alone there is no need to display a buffet, would have prefer fresher food in less quantities: same pieces of dried cakes served 3 days in a row, and it was old already on the 1st day) & dinner (fish way over cooked and extremely dry).
Excellent service from the hotel staff teams especially The day shift lady at the reception from Philippines (sorry I did not get her name) who was really great and thoughtful, very helpful and upgraded us to a sea view tent as we were the only customers, which made the difference in our stay as there was way less mosquitos in this area.

United KingdomWe didn’t love the food options for dinner but there are other resort restaurants within easy walking distance that provide enough options to keep it interesting.
Location is fantastic with a very remote feel, but easy to reach by speedboat that the hotel can arrange. The beach is great with white sand and lots of palm trees. Breakfast was perfect, we loved the air-conditioned tents and had an all-round fantastic stay. Would definitely come again. The hotel team were extremely helpful and made the whole experience absolutely enjoyable.

United KingdomSpiders/Mosquitoes (Not the hotels fault obviously) The menu could use a little improvement - more choices and quality could be a little higher. The location is a little far out and the road to get there is very dark of a night so you can’t really go out of an evening (you can take a tuk tuk but it’s a bit pricey due to distance $10). Will be amazing in a few years once they have managed to put lights on the road all the way down.
The bed is so comfortable and the sounds of the waves and the forest send you off for a peaceful nights sleep. The shower - the water is hot and lasts for the whole shower time so you can have a wonderful shower outside. The beach is beautiful and the hotel provides free kayaks and SUP boards for activities. The staff are super friendly and smile at you and say good morning and good night. The receptionist (Sorry forget your name) was particularly helpful and accommodated our many requests and gave us useful advice on a windy day (go to the other side of the island with the motorbike as it would be calm). Booked a boat tour for us and arranged transport on our first/last day. Not a negative just a note - We probably wouldn’t stay again in the tent at least but not because of the hotel just personally we realised a tent is not for us. Perhaps the rooms would more suitable to us.

IsraelWe were in Batamo for 4 days and three nights and we just felt like home there. The stay was above expectations and worth every shekel we paid. Power in glamping style at the highest level. The tents are clean and have everything they promised in the booking. We closed with breakfast and the food was delicious, there was a buffet every morning and a dish you could order. The vegetables were fresh and the coffee there was excellent. And the staff was just amazing, pleasant and welcoming. The manager of the place took care from the moment we arrived until the moment we left and even after. She is pleasant, charming and made our vacation better. In conclusion, we enjoyed every moment and we highly recommend it! ❤️

SpainBest hotel in all of Cambodia’s islands! The hotel is perfectly located in a beautiful and peaceful beach. Absolutely everything invites the guest to immerse in the relaxing island life. The tents are spacious, very clean and provided with AC, hairdryer, hats and beach bag among others. The common areas are very nice, with a large pool area and a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy some really delicious food (big shout out to the chef, she is amazing!). Breakfast is absolutely perfect, with a wide range of à la carte choices as well as a continental buffet. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the people that work here. All of the staff is very helpful and nice, always with a welcoming smile. They would make your stay here even more perfect. The stay here was an absolute pleasure, so I highly recommend choosing this hotel for your vacation in paradise.

SingaporePagoda beach is occupied only with other resorts, with no minimart or standalone restaurants available.
Tamu is an incredible place to stay on Koh Rong if you’re looking for a calm, private stay with great beach access. The rooms are very comfortable, though of course being in the midst of nature you can expect visits from insects and other wildlife from the neighbouring jungle. The best thing about Tamu: service staff and hospitality was top notch. Even before we arrived, they were so helpful with ensuring we didn’t miss the last ferry to the island, and to get to the beach safely with a large taxi. We rented a scooter from the hotel as well and it was very convenient to explore around the island, especially with the staff always happy to help with directions or advice on getting around. They don’t try to sell you boat trips or equipment as well.

FranceEverything was perfect.
From accueil to au revoir, everything is perfect. The staff is attentive and discreet, the beach is covered with shade-providing palm trees, the food is excellent and the menu changes regularly. The tents are sublime - the outside ensuite reminds us that we are in the middle of nature without any of the disadvantages. Rooms are made up rapidly, activities and transfers are arranged; what more can we ask for? The resort’s owners are right to invest in dedicated, well-trained personnel - they make the difference.

Relaxing environment and compared to the other resorts on the same beach we liked the more 'jungle feel' (incl the additional shade). The tent was luxurious and gave and extra dimension compared to a regular hotel room. Food was great as well and staff was helpfull

Very nice stay. Room was clean and maintained. Especially hamack before our room was nice place for relaxing. The whole staff is very helpful and kind. In front of Tamu is probably the most beautiful part of Pagoda beach. They have private part full of greenery and plants which is the only one like that at Pagoda beach.
