There unfortunately were a LOT of mosquitoes in our room (which we know is unavoidable) just thought it was worth mentioning if that's something that would bother you.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Sok Mean Bungalows! The staff was so kind, welcoming, and wonderful! Our bungalow was exactly what we expected, and the location was perfect, it couldn't be a shorter walk from the pier! We were comfy and very satisfied with our stay!

There are a lot of mosquitos in the whole area (not really the owner's fault) so the mosquito repellent is a must.

The owner was really friendly. The place is in a nice area and was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the mosquito net was in really good condition.

Beach location is amazing as were the family that run the place. So welcoming and friendly to our kids plus cooked some great meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It's a bungalow setting but has good mosquito nets and comfy beds.

Everything was very good :)

Everything was great. Sok mean bungalows is an authentic cambodian place created by a family. They have everything you need, there is a restaurant insude of the place and the beach is only 10 metres from the bubgalows! You can rent a kayac for a super cheap price and the restaurant there (you can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner) is very very good and super cheap as well! Therefore they can make bbq in the night and the fish are delicious!!!! (And very cheap as well). Sok helped as with everything, how to take taxi boats, recommending us different tours… (we definitely recommend the snorkel, fishing, sunset and plancton tour) and has beeen there always we needed him :) Sok and his family are great :) The location is just perfect. Mpay bay has everything you need, the beaxh, snorkel, diving places, kayac, you can see the sunset there and the restaurants in this zone are cheaper and very good :) The room has also everything you need, a mosquito net, a bed super big and comfortable and a fan us more than enough for sleeping there in the noght :) We truly recommend this place, is an authentic cambodian place with a super sweet family :) I am sure sok is going to help you in everything you need :) Thank you sok and family :)

Our stay at Sok Mean Bungalows was one of the best accomodation experiences we've had. The bungalows are simple, spacious, very clean and the bed super comfortable. They're equipped with a fan and a mosquito net. The fan, for the weather we caught, was enough to sleep comfortably. There's a restaurant with very flavourful and cheap food. Some of the best fried rice we've had in Cambodia. You can also have your breakfast there, right in front of the beach and share a delicious free tea with Sok! They also have kayaks at an amazing price. One of the high points was definitely the family and the owner, Sok, in particular. He made us feel at home, was a great company and a very good cards player! He knows a lot about how to get around and has some very good suggestions to improve your stay. Definitely do the snorkeling, fishing and plankton tour and the fresh fish barbecue Sok will invite you to.

A great little place right on the beach. The owners were lovely and friendly and he organised a fabulous half day boat trip for us, snorkeling, fishing, hanging out on Sunset Beach and then coming back as the sun was setting. Perfect! We also used the kayak that was available to guests. Don't miss out on the fish BBQs they have a few times a week. Yum!

Lovely bungalows, great setting in a beautiful garden. And yet right on the beach front. Very relaxing place, where I could have spent easily another week. The owner So Pheak is very nice and so helpful, would do anything for you! And the food was cheap and delicious. Highly recommend this place!

The bungalows are very rustic which means there were quite a lot of mosquitos and other bugs, which is to be expected on an island!

Great location, right on the beach. Really friendly staff who were very helpful. Our bungalow was simple but spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the little patio outside the bungalow too for relaxing.

It’s a wooden bungalow so there a lot (a LOT) of mosquitos, especially during the day. In the evening it’s actually okay and the mosquito net works good. And you spend your day at the beach anyways :)

Very nice bungalow!! Spacious, with a nice little veranda where you can dry your beach ware or chill in the hammock. Good wifi and the staff is very very nice! Great location, close to the pier but far enough that you don’t hear all the noise. Still need earplugs as it’s a wooden bungalow ;)

MPai bay is an amazing place and when I arrived at Sok Mean it was exactly the vibe I was looking for. A simple wooden bungalow with balcony and hammock and private bathroom from where I could practically step onto the beach. They have just opened a restaurant too which was very cheap and at night they did bbq and had acoustic music too some nights. Supe and Marco are fabulous hosts. Arranging trips in the daytime and creating a laid back vibe. I booked fkr 2 nights and stayed for 10!

The bungalows are set just behind the beach and set in garden surroundings .They are rustic wood built and have their own shower and verandah which gives the place a pleasing relaxed atmosphere and the everyone is friendly and helpful.

The economic room is almost basic and since the island is in It majority jungle, there is lots of mosquitos. So bring lots of mosquito spray!!!

Lovely vibe by the beach, we just felt at home! The owner and staff always smiling and making sure you have all what you need to enjoy. They have kayaks, the restaurant by the beach is very welcoming and there is always something happening. We stayed longer as we felt very spoiled! Thank you sooo much for all!!
