Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Fantastic hotel. Very accommodating and extremely friendly staff. Very good quality food and beverage. Clean facilities Initially we didn't think it was a family orientated resort, but there is a small kids play room and menus also catered for kids.

FranceBooked a king bed and got 2 twin beds combined in one.
Everyone working here is master class. Collectively, they represent the apex of human precision, craft, ideals and culture. The proximity to Angkor is perfectly uncanny. Both exude spiritual gravity, achievement, and grandeur. The synchronization and harmony of so many working resort gears and systems results in an effortless experience second to none. I actually heard birds singing while in a spa session which made me wonder if that was intelligently engineered like everything else, or if this resort was actually cradled on a nexus of elemental life. I recommend the lychee chilli martini. It is a portal to another culinary dimension along with everything else on their menu.

PolandEverything was great. Maybe only SPA; although it's a great experience I think it's a bit overpriced for Asia.
Outstanding hotel and level of service. Everything was great, from the cleanliness of the room, to small details which made our stay memorable. For example, staff every day left us a small desert, bikes for guests, or even mosquito spray at the restaurant. We liked the hotel so much, so we stayed 2 days longer, and they extended it at the original, discounted price. The hotel is a bit far from the city, which was a great advantage for us because it's located in the quiet countryside, but still only 10 min by tuk-tuk to the center.

SingaporeSome cocktail prices were a little too steep.
A fabulous hotel in a calm and beautiful compound close to the centre of town. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. The bikes to ride around were so fun, the main pool was divine and the little houses with your own pool were an oasis within and oasis.

United StatesThe entire staff including grounds keepers were warm friendly and helpful. The property is an oasis of calm with beautifully maintained grounds away from the hustle and noise of Siem Reap. The villas are roomy and comfortable. The food was very good and beautifully presented and delivered by fantastic wait staff. Cannot think of a single negative. We booked a pool villa which I highly recommend.

SingaporeWe had a wonderful stay at Zannier Phum Baitang! The resort itself is just incredible, on gorgeous grounds with amazing common faciliities (beautiful infinity pool, two fantastic restaurants, a beautiful sunset cocktail bar, and a great fitness centre and spa). The villas are amazing - we had a pool villa which was so great, we just lounged by the privacy of our pool for much of our trip! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. On top of all that, the staff were all amazing. Particilar shoutout to the the head chef who ran an amazing private cooking class with us - all the food was absolutely senstational! We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to visit again!

Belgiumservice was a bit substandard. If you pay $120 for a one-way ride of 50 km to your hotel and you provide your details and you arrive and there is no one to pick you up and you cannot reach anyone, that is not okay. After waiting half an hour, 2 of them come to pick you up and give a lot of excuses as to why they are not on time. Furthermore, the ride is tense and the person who is with us tries to force massages and activities on us, but we had already said that it was our last day and we wanted to rest because we were flying back home the next day. The villa itself also offers no privacy. Everyone sees you and at 8 o'clock in the morning when I just got out of the shower, someone was in the room unannounced. no, price quality, still work to be done
The biggest asset of this hotel is its location. They are all small villas in old, renovated Khmer style surrounded by rice fields. The domain is beautifully maintained and breakfast and dinner were delicious.

FranceExtremely rural "all outdoor" setting (only the rooms are closed and a/c), rooms have little natural light, long distances to walk, difficult to be outside without insect spray at any time of the day, outrageously expensive laundry service, little light at night is romantic but is also a bit frightening, wine (and drinks) pricing is out of range compared to other top hotels in Cambodia (even though - or maybe because - the Zannier group owns some of the wineries).
Wonderful village like park, very calm, green, lovely personnel, highly attentive, great tour guide and tuk tuk driver for temple tours, free airport shuttle (thank you!), loved the Land Rover Defender, really liked the food quality which is reasonably priced for a luxury hotel.
