Bungalow got a bit hot during the day, but that is not the hotel's fault. By opening the windows at night and using the fan, we got a nice breeze. They still use small toiletries, would be better to have a big dispenser for shower gel and shampoo to prevent plastic waste. (they have one for hand soap).

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, nice bungalows and beach. Great location near the pier (make sure to take the right ferry). A few lounge chairs spread along the beach under the palm trees to relax, a giant swing to watch the stars at night. We swam at night and saw the bioluminescent plankton! Food at the restaurant was good. Friendly staff, especially the two at reception. Water refill station to reduce plastic bottles is good.

All the restaurants are very far from the hotel. And it would take us at least a 20-30 minute walk to other places.

We spent just one night at this hotel, but it was enough to appreciate its charms. Our bungalow was comfortable, clean, and nestled in a wonderfully quiet location. It's the kind of place where you could easily imagine staying longer for a peaceful retreat.

the room was not very clean, plug-ins were not working properly, the bed was not comfortable at all. Just few sunbeds were available and most of them were broken and very uncomfortable.

The garden bungalows are a bit behind on maintenance. Most of the beach beds were very worn out or broken. Service at restaurants tends to be slow.

Beautifully located on a quiet part of Saracen beach, very close to the ferry, possible to walk to more crowded part of the beach (20 mins, felt also safe at night), or to beaches on the other side of the island during the day, cosy restaurant

The staff was so friendly and helpful when needed. You can see they really are a good team together, we think. The location was also very good, not on the more noisy side of the beach. And the food was the best we had there during our 5 days there.

The price through booking.com was more expensive than the value of what we got, although I suspect if you telegram the hosts directly you could get it for a cheaper price. Definitely on the rustic side, if you're looking for glamourous this isn't it. But it's still quite lovely.

We loved the beach, it's by far the nicest spot of the main beach stretch on this island, Sanloem, off of Koh Rong. The hosts were nice, and very accommodating when we asked for things (like upgrading to a nicer room for $2.50/night, mosquito coils, etc.). Our original room (eco villa) was not as nice as pictured, but then we asked to upgrade and it was super cheap and nice, so definitely would recommend doing that. They don't have particularly comfortable or many beach chairs, but we brought a blanket and that was fine. It's a perfect spot if all you want to do is sit and relax. Also the beach was super clean, not sure what other reviews are referencing there.

Only thing I could say is that the fans in the room definitely need to be cleaned, as they are completely rusted/dusty.

No AC, and rather basic bungalows, however for me it was enough to have an amazing 4 days there

The bungalows are located directly at the very end of Saracen Beach, where you have perfect tranquility and a splendid beach. Extremely friendly staff and good restaurant. Even came to pick me up from the other side of the beach after arriving on the island

Not much! We were attacked by sandflies but this was nothing anyone could do anything about. It would be nice if the property could set up a small shop or sell a few items like sunscreen and bug spray.

We had a great stay here! The personnel, the food and the bungalow were all great. It's nice and quiet here 😌. A real paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a beach front villa and it wasn’t until the last day we could use our deck chairs due to a couple of females putting their items on them and leaving them unattended most of the day

I was told by the staff that on my leaving morning "a boat man" will come and pick me up to the other pier (approx 1,5km from the villas). Nobody came at the promised time 5:50am. So I nearly have to run all the sandy beach to the other pier with all my bags with me, so I wouldnt miss the speed boat to SHV (depart 6:30am). That was the only minus from me.

Lovely eco-villa approx 20m from the sea. There was only a fan in my villa to make you cool, and that was just enough. I really did like the eco-thoughts all around the villas. Absolutely beautiful place, like paradise! Very nice staff, good food, peaceful!
