Everything was great. Lovely pool with sufficient loungers. Staff exceptionally helpful and polite. Room very comfortable with excellent air con considering outside temperature was 110. Supplied take out breakfast for early Angkor wat start. Breakfast had lots of variety although bread in Cambodia is generally poor everywhere. Display showed lots of bread variety but reality was boring.

I'm not sure what we expected with this hotel but we were blown away, it was the most stunning hotel and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and our room was no exception, we had a room overlooking the pool with a balcony and it was great. The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious The swimming pool was so inviting and relaxing and the pool staff were great We didn't have breakfast included but did try it once, it was a bit pricey but they did have a fair bit of options, but we found eating out and about was easy for us as we were always out doing something The cocktails were delicious and so was the pool side food we got. We also had a massage in the resort which was also amazing and relaxing and we had such a relaxing time The hotel was in a good location and the sky bar was cute overlooking the palace, tuk tuks were easy to get outside the hotel, we used grab mostly We also hired a driver and guide from the hotel to take us around who were fantastic and the resort car they use was very comfortable and the driver always had water and cool towels for us

Beautiful hotel. A hidden gem in the city centre. Pool area is like a tropical paradise.Had breakfast on the terrace of the old Colonial French building. staff service was superb.

Our checkin was confusing. We had to pay full fee upfront and a large amount deposit. My partner thought it maybe because we walked in with backpacks and after a bus trip. Room’s view was a little disappointing. We asked to shorten our stay to 2 nights with a refund for the 3rd and 4th night stay. Was told we had to organise that with booking.com!

Nothing the stay was great.

This hotel is an oasis of calm in a busy city. The facilities are great especially the beautiful pool atea. The staff are so attentive and really are eager to help with any requests. The food is of a consistently high standard. If you stay here visit the organic sky bar overlooking the Royal Palace, great views and yummy cocktails. Highly recomended for holidays and staycations.

Our double bedroom was comfy and you couldn't fault the size, cleanliness or comfort of the bed or the view. It has everything we needed in it including a nice sofa and small window seat. My only criticism (and I am being picky ) was the bathroom was a bit busy with no surface left to put anything on. The kids room on the ground floor kept getting a slight whiff of smoke which was odd for a non smoking room. Not really a lot to complain about though.

This is a well kept hotel in a lovely setting - a real oasis in a busy place. The hotel pool is a gorgeous place to relax after some morning site seeing and the food in all the restaurants was really exceptional. The Sangria was really good too! I thought the breakfast was good, although my husband, not so much, but they had enough variety to please everyone and the setting is lovely. The Sky bar is a great place to unwind after and evening out or for some food if you have had a really hectic day. We found the staff to be really helpful and friendly from the maid to the bar tender to the reception staff, a really smiley team. Husband was happy with the gym (but some spray and tissues to wipe machines down would be good)

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were enthusiastic and very eager to please. The food was excellent and the pool and surrounding gardens were a welcome relief from the busyness of PP. The location was excellent, opposite the Grand Palace. We enjoyed the rooftop bar too! Would highly recommend this hotel!

There really was nothing I didn't like

The location for my needs on a charity mission to a clinic was perfect. The staff could not do enough for you. I only had one evening meal in the hotel restaurant but it was delicious and did not cost very much at all. The room was very comfortable. The price was also very reasonable for the suite I had. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Palace Gate for a wonderful stay.

There was not anything negative to say about this hotel. The amenities were lovely and the staff were friendly. We only stayed one night as we were in transit.

The hotel was lovely. Our room was ample sized, had everything we needed and very well appointed. Loved the shower and bathroom set-up was very functional. The pool and surrounds were lovely. We enjoyed an evening meal at the restaurant.

The rooms are not new , it would be perfect to have carpets .

Perfect location , beautiful garden , incredible sky bar with Royal palace view, big swimming pool . They upgraded our room for 2 bedrooms suit and made special compliment for us as towel swans , fruits but most important ,they wrote a card for us with so special and warm congratulations! we took this card with us for this special memory , thank you !!!

The Decor was just gorgeous. The facilities look wonderful although I didn’t use the spa. I had tapas in the sky bar which was great & happy hour cocktails by the pool, very enjoyable .The staff were so friendly and helpful. Their lobby area is very comfy and I sat there for a good while before heading to the airport after generous checkout time of 12pm.

This hotel is very comfortable and perfectly located but could do with renovation. The rooms and reception areas are very dated. The pool is very busy indeed and most of it is in the shade.

The hotel was very comfortable but we did have to sort out a better room on arrival. There was noise and building work next door so it would have been noisy in the evening. The staff were very helpful and sorted out a quiet room for us. The swimming pool and dining area is very attractive. The location is very good and it’s to get a Tuk Tuk outside for day tours or local trips. You can walk to the seafront and Palace.
