Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThis resort is so serene and beautiful. It instantly relaxes you! Add to this Sabon's excellent assistance, and the stay could be nothing short of perfect. My only regret is that we didn't book the villa for a longer stay, because everything was perfect. The attention to detail and immediate reaction from staff truly far exceeded our expectations The setting of the place is also very special and beautiful. It is only a short ride away from the hustle and bustle of the Siem Reap tourist areas, but also wonderfully calm and well shaded, surrounded by stunning nature all around. Every single aspect of our stay can only be expressed in superlatives

United KingdomComparitively expensive trips and restaurant (but reasonable by uk standards) and good food.
Beautiful environment in farm gardens but only few minutes to town centre. Lovely room, quiet property, very good food, fresh fruit in room, friendly staff

United KingdomIf you order a cocktail for e.g. drinks by the pool, it takes around 30 mins for them to come - just be aware!
Lovely park with isolated villas - perfect place to unwind after spending the days exploring Angkor Wat. Staff were very friendly. WhatsApp system (for booking tours, drinks, room service etc) worked well for me. Don't forget to ask them to make up your room, as they won't do it automatically.

United KingdomNothing, it was an absolute amazing place to stay.
This hotel completely lived up to expectations…and then exceeded them! All the staff are so attentive and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The Lakeside villa we stayed in was just incredible. Such attention to detail! The private pool with a lakeside view is breathtaking and a perfect place to cool down and relax after a day visiting temples! Although we recognise there are cheaper place to stay in Siem Reap we really feel that the room rate is very good value for money because of what is on offer. This hotel is a real oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap and definitely made our trip even more special and memorable. The gardens are beautiful maintained and are teaming with wildlife, which we loved. Siem Reap is a short Tuk Tuk ride away (10mins) which the hotel provides at a really reasonable rate. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Siem Reap but the hotel bar and restaurant is also beautiful. There is a good range of drinks and cocktails and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to Pisey and the rest of the staff for looking after us so well and making us feel like one for the family 🙏

United KingdomThe only down-side was the building site noise next door, which woke us quite early each day and went on throughout the day. Also, the location was further from town than we expected, meaning it was a tuk-tuk everywhere (which was no big deal!)
Amazing stay at Mane - very friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful location and well-kept grounds. Food and drink was superb as was the service every time. Concierge (Net) and her colleagues were fantastic! Good driver service and buggies everywhere.

LatviaDespite the many positives, I felt that the breakfast options could be broadened. A greater variety would cater to different tastes and make the mornings even more enjoyable. Additionally, the tranquility of the resort was occasionally marred by the noise from nearby construction work. The sound was quite intrusive, detracting from the serene atmosphere and the feeling of isolation that makes this place so special. While I often spent my days exploring and returned in the evening after the construction had ceased, the disturbance during the day could be a significant inconvenience for those looking to relax in their beautiful surroundings throughout the day.
My stay at Mane Family Vacation was a remarkable experience that beautifully married vastness with nature. The resort's expansive layout, with cottages spread out over large distances, provided a profound sense of solitude that is hard to come by. This setup allowed me to feel truly secluded and at peace, enhancing my connection to the natural surroundings. The breakfast, albeit with limited options, was delightful, adding a touch of homeliness to the mornings. The closeness to nature wasn't just an idea but a vivid experience here. Waking up to the sounds of the wilderness and being amidst such lush greenery was genuinely revitalizing. Main Family Resort excels at offering an escape that feels both intimate and grand, making my time there not just a stay, but a return to the essence of nature.

United StatesThe construction on one side of the property was a bit annoying. Not super loud but I did hear it BUT as soon as I mentioned it to my assistant Sarem she worked with the manager to find me another villa (an even BIGGER ONE, at no additional cost) that was farther from the construction and perfectly peacefully quiet. They let me tour a couple different villas so I could choose one that appealed to me.
The staff were absolutely exceptional. Everything from the welcome drink to asking me every day if I wanted housekeeping, to the personal assistant (sweet Sarem!) finding me curl cream where everyone has perfectly straight hair (LOL), to calling tuk tuks immediately and quickly every time I wanted to go into town, the service was simply impeccable. Because I stayed for a long time I was upgraded to a MUCH larger villa which was further upgraded when I mentioned dismay about some new construction next door (which honestly appears mostly done structurally so shouldn't be loud for too much longer). The villas themselves were gorgeous, decorated in a fusion of elegant east-meets-west (think solid wood hand-carved pieces). The kitchen was stocked with enough free water for my entire stay. They were happy to make anything I requested vegetarian for me. I just cannot say enough about this resort, I'm sure I forgot some things! Oh, and the grounds were SO lovely and peaceful, there is a legit lotus pond at one side. Oh, and the SPA where I had the best traditional Khmer massage (as a gift of the hotel, again for staying with them for a while around 10 days). My villa also ended up having a reflection pond and 2 amazing balconies. So much light on the top floor where I spent most of my time. Sarem also made organizing tours, etc. such a breeze as I didn't have to do much of anything and she was happy to help me guide my choices.

United KingdomMosquitos at night, husband and I always get bitten alive! Otherwise I cannot fault the place.
My husband and I stayed here for a few days whilst visiting Angkor wat. Our personal assistant Des was amazing and tended to all our needs. The whole team were welcoming, had a smile on their faces, and it was just far away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to Angkor wat. A beautiful natural resort for a perfect retreat.

GermanyWe can't find anything to improve. If we had a wish, we could ask for it with WhatsApp and got more free coffee capsules e.g.; there was always water in the fridge and fresh fruits.
The breakfast and tea time was great! We enjoyed to select different delicious cambodian meals each day for breakfast and different teas in the afternoon. We got a very nice and caring personal assistant for our stay, Sarem. She assisted in all kind of questions and made our stay comfortable and exceptional. We can recommend Mane Family Resort, especially Palm Villa close to the pool which we liked a lot! It feels remote, calm and relaxing and you are not far from the city. The park is very well maintained and decorated. We enjoyed the swing-bench!

United KingdomThe laundry and mini bar charges are crazy. I was going to be charged $6.50 for one dress when it cost $1.50 a KG in the town. Also $3.50 for coke in the mini bar when they are $0.70 in the supermarket. Charge 100% uplift for sure but 5/600% is silly money.
Beautiful grounds and clean and tidy. Staff were lovely and sooo helpful and kind. They were amazing, all of them and should be commended.

United KingdomThe problems I have to say about this resort is that the door was a bit challenging to open and no hangers for towels. FYI, there was no TV but we didn’t need it as there were many things to do. Wifi wasn’t great but again plenty of things to explore! If you hesitate to book, don’t! Just do it. You won’t be disappointed.
We stayed at a Pool Villa by Lotus pond for 3 nights during our Angkor Wat visit. We received a very warm welcome from Salem, our personal assistant. She was the best. Communication was efficient via WhatsApp. The resort was serene surrounded by rice fields, nature and it was very cultural. The staff were attentive and super friendly. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Toiletries, Linen was good quality. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The resort was big but they provided buggy service and bikes to roam around. The Tuk Tuk was affordable too. I cannot recommend anything better than this resort and I will definitely be coming back.

United KingdomBreakfast and tea trays weren't taken away when the room was cleaned and once the room wasn't cleaned when we asked. The WhatsApp group is a nice idea but means,.as a guest, you have to be really proactive and ask for everything... e.g. please collect the breakfast tray from the balcony, make up room, etc. The drinks in the fridge weren't refreshed during our stay, and there wasn't a bottle opener for the bottles.
The grounds and villa were fantastic. The staff were all friendly and keen to help. The food at the restaurant was very tasty.

PolandContact through the booking and WhatsApp was ridiculous. Throught the booking I didn't get any answer at all which is a shame. I almost cancel my booking when I had to wait for response so many days and few days before stay they responded and changed mind in something we agreed long time ago. No hangers in the bathroom, bed not seperated from the desk so it's very easy to drop something when we lean on pillows. The platform in front of the pool requires some repairs. Restaurant is good, but definitely can be better, especially breakfast - it's good but it's not even close to be outstanding like the rest of the hotel. Menu is so wide that not well readable.
Staff was very kind and helpful through the whole stay. The chalet with private pool and lake was really outstanding. The bed was huge and comfortable. Afternoon tea is really nice. Floating breakfast and romantic dinner were well arranged. Massage was great.
