Good location from ferry pier. Quiet at night allowed for good sleep. Free water refill by reception desk. Close restaurants. Friendly staff, although spoke no English.

It’s very simple but ins. Good location. There were no air con rooms left and the fan room was just about comfortable. Very close to the port and near to lots of bars and restaurants.

Can be noisy as you are next to the street but it wasn't a major problem at all

Very nice, good balcony (shared). Good location lots of shops and restaurants and only 20 mins to other beach. Staff really helpful, rented a motorbike with ease.

AC was so weak, had one of the large front rooms at the front with windows that had gaps all the way around so 16 degrees on full blast the entire time didn’t do much. Pillows (and cases) had mould spores on them so had to use our own pillow cases. Room was quite unclean, lots of bits and sand all over the floor when we first arrived, and an awful smell coming from the bathroom drain meaning we had it covered when we weren’t using it. Locals set up karaoke right outside one night meaning it was hard to sleep especially with the gaps in the windows. Probably wouldn’t stay again

Spacious room. Mattress was comfortable. Great location, at the end of the “strip” of restaurants on Koh Toch. Staff were very nice. Slept quite good when the locals weren’t wailing on karaoke right outside!! Good if you want a budget stay on the island

Staff were sometimes hard to find when we had a question. Fridge would be a nice addition (although is not in the room description so we weren't expecting one).

Great view of the beach -we asked for a room with a view which Simon kindly made sure we got. The balcony area was a nice place to relax. The air con was good and the location was great. The area was quiet at night.

100% picked air con room when booking but only got given a fan room. We got ready outside the room as was to hot in the room. But that’s just because we’re in Asia it’s bound to be hot

The lighting was a bit harsh, could have done with lamps or a dimmer switch to the one it down a little bit.

Not the cleanest (black hair everywhere when we arrived). Bathroom really smelt of drains and flooded even more than most hotels in Cambodia. Staff often not available at reception.

You have to accept that on an Island water is a shortage so any property will have the same issue which is very weak shower.

Bathroom could do with a deeper clean, it’s okay for island life and considering you’re covered in sand the whole time you’re there but only criticism is to just be a little bit more thorough.

Owners are super friendly, Location is unreal rooms are basic but aircon is amazing! Rooms are basic but bed was very comfy. Better bet than a private room in a hostel for sure! Connivence store attached next door

The shower pretty much sprays the whole room and its pretty small. But-it is an inexpensive room. The window looked over an alleyway with another building very close, so no light really comes in. This is a high traffic area so noise can be expected, but that affects all the hotels on that stretch.

Short walk from ferry. Felt the room match what I paid for-inexpensive. It was clean and comfortable and fairly large. Location right on the main strip along the water with restaurants and shops all around.

No kettle, no fridge, but for the price paid, it was ok.

The location was great, in the heart of the bay. We asked for a room with a view/ balcony with our booking, and we were lucky to be given one. So recommend asking for one, or you may end up with a not a good view. Simon was a great host and more than helpful to accommodate any needs. The level of accommodation is probably the best on the island that we saw. The price reflects the accommodation so we were not disappointed.

Cockerels woke me up early. Window in room was 1 foot away from building on opposite side of the window - so not really a window at all.

The staff (Simon) was really helpful and accommodating, from the moment we arrived we didn’t even have to give out names as he knew exactly when we were arriving which gave a personal touch. We also had a small issue where our air con had to be reset after the power went on and off a few times (this is common on Koh Rong). It was midnight, but we tried our luck to see if Simon was around, when we found him downstairs he dropped everything he was doing and came and helped us straight away - the problem was solved within 5 minutes. Finally, we booked our boat transfer to Koh Rong Sanloem with the hotel, the transfer was at 13:00. Without having to ask, Simon told us we could check out later and stay in our room for no extra cost, until our boat transfer was due.

Nothing really. I was grateful that someone recommended it to me as I might have overlooked it otherwise.

Nice, honest, decent family run hotel. Very pleasant and gentle owner/manager. Very comfortable bed. Lack of mosquitos, which meant I didn't need to worry about the lack of mosquito net! (NB I put a towel across the gap at the bottom of my bedroom door, as someone else suggested - it's very good tip.) Fan and aircon (tho I didn't need to use the latter). Very handy location very close to the pier (and village shops, restaurants etc) if that's where you want to be, yet not impacted by any noisy bars, etc (or certainly not when I was there). Nice seafront position.

There was no mosquito nets on the window.

The location was perfect as it was right in front of the sea. Restaurants and small shops were all really close as well. The room was spacious and it was spotless when we arrived.
