Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNo breakfast or food option available, no pool and with the exception of your room, the entire hotel is open so no air con until you enter your room. It’s also located next to a primary school, so if your a light sleeper - it may be a problem. Also no elevator.
Very quaint, super friendly staff, great location to the night market/old market and pub street area/s. They offer a wonderful iced tea and cold towel to freshen up upon check in, which felt delicious as it was terribly hot.

United KingdomNot sure if it was just our room but the electricity kept cutting out at various points. Maybe a faulty key? Also, no elevator.
A wonderful place to stay in the heart of Siem Reap without being too noisy. The staff are super friendly and rooms are clean.

GermanyThe most friendly staff I've ever seen! So welcoming and nice and always ready to help you out! We really enjoyed all the little chats! The hotel itself is very nice as well. We loved the traditional look of the building and the interior. The entrance area with the little pond and all the plants is lovely as well!

United KingdomGreat location and fabulous hotel. Me and my boyfriend stayed here in the middle of March and our stay was made very special by the lovely staff who work there. Both the morning and evening hotel attendees were fantastic but we have to give thanks to the young man Mr. Suphon who worked in the afternoon and was always extremely enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. He guided us with the best recommendations and was always happy to chat with us about our travels. We wish him all the best for the future and hope his work ethic is recognised!

PolandI missed the TV in the room. When we arrived we found dust over the bed. After bringing the problem to the attention of the staff, it was quickly resolved. There is a school next to the hotel. From the morning there is noise. For this the facility is no longer able to do anything. What it makes up for is exemplary customer service. To me, the singing of children sounded charming, but I get up quickly.
Very pleasant hotel, close to the center of Siem Reap. You can walk to the street with bars or a big market in a few minutes on your feet. Staff charming, very helpful. The way they take care of guests is exemplary! You can pay by card for stay.

GermanyNo bad things to report. This time no breakfast, but that was our own choice. Next to the hotel, there is a school. Kids are a little loud, like kids are, and 7 a.m. the day starts with the national anthem.
The hotel is pretty good and nice for the cheap price they ask. Also the location is very good, if you accept 2 kilometers of walking (one way), you can see all the attractions of Siem Reap town center without needing transportation, like Pub Street, Old Market, the river, Wat Preah Prom Rat, which is a very nice temple with lots of things to see, if you're interested more in buddhism than just pictures. About 2 kilometers, you even reach Preah Ang Check Shrine and the colony of flying foxes. The staff is very friendly, we had a small balcony. We stayed in this hotel the second time after 2019, and it was good back then and it is good now.

Spain*location was great but it had some drawbacks like the school at 7:00 in the morning they played over loudspeakers the national anthem, but the staff warms you're about that. And for hot water in the shower you need it to turn on the shower like 5 minutes before you wanted to take it. G the wardrobe could use some small compartments. They only had hanging racks
I liked the location* and the staff was really friendly and helpful and good part you could also buy drinks there for also a cheap price the same price like in some bars like $1 for a beer I stayed in one of the biggest rooms and with balcony, bed was really comfortable, the AC was powerful and the room was really clean. They offer cleaning 2 times a day. All amenities like restaurants, laundries are close by just around the corner.

United KingdomIt is hard to find a fault but if I was forced to consider one, I would probably say the decor in the room was a bit bland.
The staff stood out from the very first interaction. Very friendly and always open to help. At times I was left overwhelmed at just how nice they were. I plan on returning to Cambodia and do not wish to stay anywhere else.
