We just checked out of One beach resort. This hotel is located on a beautiful private beach. The rooms have everything you need. The hotel also has a restaurant serving delicious dishes and drinks, and a swimming pool overlooking the sea. But the most important thing that makes this place unique are the wonderful hotel employees who treated us like family. First of all, Khemara and Shell are the people who took care of us before our arrival, helping us book transport, and then taking care of us like family on site. And the chef of kitchen and the gentleman from the office, always dressed in a white shirt and willing to help and answer every question (sorry we didn't remember his name). We only mention these four people, but every hotel employee was incredibly positive, smiling and helpful. And it is mainly thanks to these people that this hotel is unique and we would love to come back :) Thank you very much for the wonderful birthday gift, it was very nice for us! Nothing bad to point out. Simply comment that its location in Sandy Beach means that you need to walk a little more than if you are staying in the central bay of the island, for us it was not a problem, we love trekking and the tranquility of the place made up for it! I hope the goverment rebuild the walkway over the coast from Pearl Beach to Saracen Bay and maintain the paths through the jungle, it is horrifying to see the esplanades created as "roads"

When we arrived, as they had availability, they put us in a room with views of the beach (by reservation we had views of the garden), a real detail. The room was very clean, very comfortable and they renewed the water bottles as a gift every day. The resort's beach is very quiet and pleasant

There is nothing that I didn't like.

Everything went smoothly from the beginning, with early check up and a room upgrade. The staff is the greatest ++ for this resort, very prompt and friendly. This is the place to come if you want to relax. The beach is empty, the sea is clear and beach is sandy and clean. The Villa I stayed in was spacious and modern, very clean. Breakfast is diverse and they vary it from day to day. Cocktails were excelent.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room and resort was very clean, restaurant had a varied menu to choose from. There is a boat service to get to other parts of the island very convenient. Everything you need is here and makes your stay comfortable and easy. Would stay again. Highly recommend!

The booked snorkel boar trip wasn't as advertised with archipel. We ended up on a small fishing boat for the same price.

Our Villa was ready when we arrived. We got an early check in. After check out one of the staff member Charl guided us to a pick up point at the other side of the village, because the sea that day was a bit rough so we couldn't get a pick up in front of the resort. We would like to mention that we had a great time at this resort. All staff members were very friendly and supportive with our inquirys. We definitely come back and recommend this place to other guest.

The only improvements I would offer, are to fix the inconsistencies. The Hotel is in a great location, and the restaurant is nice with good Chefs. However, the food is quite overpriced. This means the place is very quiet as people seemed to just walk up the road or the beach to find a cheaper alternative. It feels very confusing for the hotel to offer a BBQ which was great value and super tasty, but if you want a basic Khmer Meal like lok lak it can cost $5 more then anywhere else. Also portion size varies. Also the Boat Tour being offered is $25 a head at the hotel. However, it will only cost you $15 to book through the same company if you contact them directly. Same with massages.

Lovely Hotel! We had a brilliant stay. Came for my partners birthday and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Even creating a beautiful fruit carving birthday surprise, they really helped make our weekend a special one that we will never forget. The free pick up was also appreciated from Saracen bay. The first night we had the BBQ on the beach, which I would definitely recommend to anyone staying. We split the single person option between two and had more then enough food. Cocktails are also great and reasonably priced considering the hotel and location. We loved being able to use the free Kayaks too. We booked the beach bungalow and were not disappointed. The bed was a brilliantly comfortable, the room clean and the ac very much working. Overall, while a bit pricey, One Beach Resort is a lovely place to stay with very welcoming and helpful staff and a comfortable atmosphere.

Food is expensive, so we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel aside from the bbq, however some very good options nearby despite it being a quiet area generally. Quite expensive to get to Saracen Bay where there’s more going on ($20 return for a 5 min taxi boat for 2 pp) plus boat stops at 6pm. Plus - be careful of booking the boat tour (snorkelling etc) through the hotel as they will try and charge $25 pp for a tour that should cost $15 and then keep the remainder as we found from the other guests on the boat! They eventually took the extra cost off but make sure you don’t pay the higher rate!

Great location on a secluded stretch of beach, room was very nice for the money. Staff were lovely - so friendly and helpful, plus the breakfast was really good. The beach is amazing, as is the view from the pool as it has prime location on the side of the beach. Also recommend the bbq on the beach if you have time! Having stayed elsewhere on the island this was the standout for the price - aside from some minor things to be aware of I’d definitely stay here again!
